Lake Como is beautiful and easy to navigate either by boat,bus or ferry everything is right there and the town of Pognano is peaceful ,beautiful and the people are so friendly and helpful!. Rent a boat it will be the best experience of the lake ever! -

Our vacation at villa Panoramica was outstanding. The villetta is well named as the views from upper and lower balcony are breathtaking.You will find the owners Eric and Robin are so welcoming and helpful. Eric was there daily to answer any questions and just to help make our vacation perfect.There are many good restaurants nearby and an excellent little grocery/butcher shop at the top . Lake Como Beach Resort has its own elevator to bring you down to their waterfront location and another elevator is in the process of being built. My husband walks with a cane but was still able to manage the trip down to our villetta. One of the very special perks for this place is that you can go anywhere on this beautiful lake by ferry. A short walk down the little road along the lakeside brings you to the ferry terminal. The weather in September was fantastic, allowing lots of swims in the lake. Hopefully we will be able to return to this beautiful location. The owners Eric and Robin, certainly helped to make this a perfect vacation spot.

The Como area would have to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet and Lake Como Beach Resort is a great place to stay whilst there. Our villa had everything we needed and one of the most important things to us was the beautiful comfy bed which was a blessing after a day of sight-seeing. Eric was a wonderful host and helped us out immensely when we needed it. Thanks Eric for being such an accommodating host and giving us all the information that we needed to have a great few days. The only thing I regret is that we couldn't stay longer. If we go back we'd surely love to stay at Lake Como Beach Resort.

Everything worked very well at the Lake Como Beach Resort, Eric gave excellent service, he is a good man.
The apartment was very good, the experience having different families sharing the garden and the beach was good, we will repeat some time in the future, lake and hills were excellent combination. definitely we recommend!! -

Eric and Robin were wonderful! Helpful in every way possible. We feel that we gained a friendship rather than just meeting the owners. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. 5 minute walk to ferry dock was very convenient for visiting lakeside villages. Highlight for me was swimming in the Lake in the daily, a 10 second walk from our villetta. Small market nearby with a very friendly and helpful butcher. Loved it!

For a waterfront experience of Lake Como that is reasonably priced, I can't imagine it getting better than this. My partner and I stayed for a week over summer and we would not hesitate to come back.
A word of warning to start, the 15/20 mins drive from Como (the town) is a little hair-raising for those unaccustomed to driving on the narrow lake roads. Then the very steep and winding driveway down to the car park and the small elevator off the cliff face will further test your resolve.
But just when you think your nerves can't handle any more, the serenity and beauty of the lake overwhelms you and any stress you had getting to the villa quickly dissipates.
Eric is just about the friendliest guy you will ever meet - gives you his undivided attention when you see him and always helpful with a suggestion or recommendation. He made our time there feel as if we were staying with friends.
The villas are furnished nicely and whilst it's not the Ritz, it has everything that you need for a great stay. The resort has a bit of a community feel about it as all villas open out on to a central square and decking, so chatting with other guests and comparing holiday stories is always interesting.
What really makes this place special is it's location on the water and stunning views. With direct access to the lake, swimming and sun bathing by the lake is probably all the you will want to do, and it's made better by not being over crowded with tourists like some other towns on the lake.
I would recommend shopping at the local grocery store (pretty good for the main staples) and cooking meals to enjoy on your balcony over looking the lake or in one of the communal areas on the lake. Food tastes better when it's being eaten with views like this!
I would also recommend Restaurant Bella Vista in Veleso and Villa Melzi (gardens) in Bellagio. -

We had a great week here on the waters front. Eric was very helpful. The kitchen was well stocked, tv & dvd player which was very handy. The bed was extremely comfortable with good linens. The best bit we liked was the self contained apartment but with great views over the Lake and sun bathing in the lido beach area. The worst bit about it was leaving. Would thoroughly recommend staying, so much to do in the area, good bus services and the bus stop just on the main road.

Our stay at the resort was at the end if a 7 week European holiday. It was perfect for us as we were looking for a quiet and beautiful location.
Eric and Robina were wonderful to communicate with in planning our booking and in the week we were there. The Villa had all that we needed for self catering. We were able to catch the local bus and the ferry easily to get to towns on the Lake.
We would definately recommend to anyone looking for the peace and tranquility that smaller towns on Lake Como offer. It really was a highlight of our holiday. -

Lcbr was everything we had hoped for. As 1st time visitors to Italy, we felt immediately at home and well taken care of. Eric, the owner, was so patient and gracious, so willing to answer our questions and help us make the most of our visit to Lake Como, even arranged our car rental after we arrived (a last minute decision for us and we strongly recommend it for seasoned drivers!) and he even drove us to The town of Como to pick up the car and ease the transaction...we speak no Italian. He even lent us his Garmin to use while we were there to save us the expense of renting the navigation system. He also arranged a boat rental for us (definitely do this too!) Many of the other towns like Bellagio and Como are packed with tourists and as much as we enjoyed visiting them, we so appreciated coming back to the little town of Pognana Lario and the Lake Como Beach Resort. Quiet, clean, friendly and awesome views...everything we needed for our wonderful 5 days on Lake Como. One small issue for us was the steep descent to the resort, lots of steps and even an elevator to get you down to the waterfront, but worth every step and enabled us to enjoy some more delicious food with less guilt! Probably not a good option if you are disabled or elderly I guess. But perfect for us and every other guest who was there while we were there. This place was a gem and we hope to get back there soon! Stop looking for your vacation rental and book your stay at Lcbr you will not be disappointed!

My wife and I had a fantastic Honeymoon in Villetta Panoramica back in October. The property was lovely with everything we could possibly need. Very tasteful and stylish. We are hikers and enjoyed our daily hikes around the villages and towns on the lake. We were here for a two week Honeymoon. The villetta was centrally located on Lake Como where we were able to visit many other towns during our stay such
as Lugano, Switzerland, Varenna, Bellagio, Bergamo, Milan and many other spots along the lake.
We took a seaplane tour to visit the lakes by plane - really stunning from the air.
We used the ferry on many days to get all over the lake, which was romantic, adventurous and fun.
The customer care and service offered by Eric and Robin exceeded our expectations. A huge thanks to you both for making our stay, most memorable.
The dining in Lombardy was wonderful and we especially liked the small quaint family owned restaurants scattered along the lakeshore.
We will be back very soon as we come from Germany and have fallen in love all over again.

Being greeter with the stunning views of the Lake Como beach resort after a long day of travelling was just amazing!
Our villeta was lovely: clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Spread over two levels, it feels really spacious and is tastefully decorated. A stone's throw from the shores of the lake, there are amazing views wherever you look, but the views from the upstairs balcony are especially spectacular to wake up to in the morning. Breakfast on the balcony every morning was a treat.
Hosts Eric and Robin were just wonderful; welcoming, friendly and very accommodating.
I didn't want to leave, have raved about the resort to many people since my return and am already thinking about when I can get back out there!
Lake Como Beach resort is definitely worth a visit - be warned though, you won't want to leave!

We and our wedding party stayed here for a week either side of our wedding on 1st Oct 2011. Robin & Eric could not have been any more helpful, they went out of their way to assist us and our guests at every possible opportunity. Having previously visited the Lcbr we knew how spectacular the accommodation and setting were, however our guests didn't and they were all absolutely blown away by what they saw. You really cant overstate just how incredible the location is. Beautiful villas all located around a communal courtyard, right by the water in one of the most stunning parts of the lake, complete with its own lido and jetty - heaven! Having previously stayed in another of Robin and Eric villas - Villette Gisette near Veleso, we have become very good friends with them. It really is no exaggeration to say that our wedding wouldn't have been the success it was without their help and support. We loved our stay here so much that we plan to return to this very spot every year for our anniversary.

We were so happy to have chosen Lake Como for our Honeymoon and the Lcbr. The small resort is a very special little hideway resort away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. Yet it is centrally located on the waterfront between Como and Bellagio, which makes for convenience when you want to get out and run around. We had a car during our stay but chose to use the local ferry and buses which were great. Eric was a real prince of a guy and host. Assisting with all of our travel palns and day trips, picking us up from Bellagio from our dinner at Salice Blu and renting the motorboat for us. Not to be missed, by the way.
Thank you Eric for being there whenever we needed you.
We even scheduled a cooking class with Chef Luigi at Salice Blu for the following day. He was a brilliant chef.
Would recommend this gem to anyone wanting to relax or get out and explore ! A real treat.
