Loved it so much we went back again this year!

Left on 09/03/2012 for a stay in September 2012

We just returned from our second stay at the Chestnut Inn and were so sad to leave. I was beyond stressed when we left for our trip, and a trip to Chestnut Inn was just what the doctor ordered. We returned well rested, well fed and relaxed. Considering this was our second visit there, we knew what to expect and were so excited to return. Every morning I counted down the minutes until our delicious gourmet breakfast was served and looked forward to relaxing on the screened in porch in the evening, followed by a great night's sleep in the comfy bed. My only complaint (which I may have said this last year) is that I couldn't move in or bring Jackie home to cook for me!!! We hope to return for our third visit next summer and are recommending the Chestnut Inn to all our friends who are planning a trip down the Ocoee. I sure feel sorry for people who haven't discovered Chestnut Inn yet...they sure are missing out!

Beautiful & comfortable home, amazing people!

Left on 05/11/2012 for a stay in May 2012

This was my first time staying at a Bed & Breakfast and I absolutely loved it. I never want to stay at a hotel again. The home was incredibly clean and comfortable. The home owners were kind, helpful, and delightful. They were ready to help when we asked questions about sight-seeing and drew maps for us to get anywhere. The food was amazing - I've never tasted anything better! The food was fresh (mint picked out from the garden that morning). I will definitely return if I'm ever back in Tennessee!

      The house is beautiful!

My husband and I booked this B&B; for a quick weekend getaway. We had a wonderful time. The room was absolutely lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and the company of the owners was delightful. I would highly recommend this B&B; to anyone that is looking for a nice place to staaay in Conasauga area. Very nice!

      Ocoee Zipline Overnight

Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in October 2011

We found this B&B; on an Ocoee outfitter's web site when booking a zipline trip. Easy location for stay if doing any Ocoee raft/kayak or other outdoor adventure stuff. The industrial "wood preserving company town" feel of the approach was a tad disconcerting but all of that disappeared when we turned into the property. Nice landscaping, great home feel and terrific warm welcome as we arrived. Rooms were well decorated with obvious "touch" of the owner. Bed and room were comfortable and quiet. Bath modern and well outfitted. Access to coffee/soft drinks/snacks. Wine was offered but we had brought our own. Breakfast was outstanding and since we had no where to be early the next morning our conversation with Jackie was unhurried and delightful. Before we left we felt like old friends.

      What a fantastic place!

Left on 10/15/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We had a wonderful stay at the Chestnut Inn - it was a perfect weekend away. We felt very welcome as soon as we arrived and were told we were free to use the living room and porch areas to relax as well as our own room. The room itself was fantastic - lovely comfy bed and great decorations all around.

Jackie was the perfect hostess - breakfast each morning was a feast and absolutely delicious and she was a fantastic guide to the local area. We told her some of the things that we were interested in doing and she came up with fantastic recommendations for areas to see (even drawing us a route map for a wonderful drive to do) and great restaurants to visit.

Overall it was the perfect weekend getaway and we would love to return sometime.

Outstanding stay. This location is as wonderful as the pictures appear and is the perfect location for white water rafting or mountain exploring. The breakfast was filling and attractively prepared. The price was unbeatable and the service was second to none. I look forward to going back this spring. Fantastic stay!

      Comfortable

Left on 09/25/2011 for a stay in August 2011

My husband and I truly enjoyed staying at the Chestnut Inn while on a short getaway. The house and our room were very comfortable, and the breakfasts Jackie served were out of this world. We will definitely stay at the Chestnut Inn when we have our next getaway to the Ocoee area.

When can we come back again?

Left on 08/26/2011 for a stay in August 2011

Chestnut Inn by far exceeded our expectations of a bed and breakfast. I have to admit, my husband and I tend to be reclusive around other people we don't know, so the idea alone of a bed and breakfast was a little intimidating. However, our stay at Chestnut Inn has given us a new view on B&Bs;, and we're hooked! We would go back every weekend if we could, because we had such an enjoyable stay. Even if we ran out of things to do (which I don't think is possible with what the area has to offer), we would go back just to visit Jackie (the owner). I really felt like I was leaving family when it was time to check out. I agree with the other review...I felt compelled to give everyone a hug!
The inn was beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained and clean. The breakfasts were delicious, and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in!
Jackie made us feel completely at home, and we are definitely looking forward to returning as soon as we have the opportunity.
