In the peaceful countryside of Conegliano Veneto, a historic villa where time seems to stand still. An environment of high architectural value in which to find the tranquility and the pleasure of beauty, a dip in the pages of history, where art and culture still know how to enchant the eye of the host.

The villa, originally founded as a hunting lodge and enlarged by the Count of Porcia and Brugnera in the XVIII century, is located on the border between the provinces of Treviso and Pordenone; from here guests can easily reach the beaches of the Adriatic sea and prestigious cities such as Venice, Padua, Udine, Conegliano, Vittorio Veneto... or the Park of the Dolomites.

Inside a large park of more than 3 hectares, the villa has a small private chapel where you can celebrate religious ceremonies, and tradition says that here Napoleon I and General Radetsky have housed. Inside the building a large central hall with a beautiful staircase and neoclassical frescoes separates the eastern wing from the western wing.

The villa is tastefully furnished with antique furniture and is ideal for up to 12 - 14 guests, it's spread over two floors with a total area of 800 square meters. It has a living room, dining room, kitchen with oven, freezer and dishwasher, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower and bathtub, laundry room and other adjacent rooms.

Nearby there are tennis courts, swimming pools, golf courses and biking trails; less than 500 meters there are shops, supermarkets and services of all kinds. On request it's possible to have available a cook.Read more

"La Marca gioiosa et amorosa" (the joyful and lovely Marca), as it was called in former times, is a harmonious balance between town and countryside.

The origins of Treviso are shrouded in mystery and the only certain data are relative to the ancient people who lived in the area during the ancient Veneti era. Becoming extremely important under the Lombard rule, it was elected capital of the Marca Trevigiana under the Carolingian domination, an area which now represents the entire province. From the 14th century onwards it was incorporated within the territories of the Republic of Venice, succumbing to its destiny.

The province of Treviso is crossed by two significant rivers: the Piave and the Sile. In addition to the capital city, sung by the poets as a "gracious city", also noteworthy are the picturesque towns of the province: Castelfranco Veneto, Vittorio Veneto, Asolo, Maser, Conegliano Veneto, Valdobbiadene, Montebelluna, Oderzo, Portobuffolè and Possagno.

The Natural Park of the Sile River offers a great naturalistic experience, concealing small populated areas of exceptional historic and artistic value, such as Paese, with its Casa Quaglia, bearing witness to one of the oldest architectural villa styles of the Treviso area.

The religious traditions and numerous villas have characterized the history, culture and art of this province. Among the dwellings of particular interest is the 17th century Villa Albrizzi Franchetti in Preganziol, which became the center for an Academy and a destination visited by artists and poets such as Foscolo, Byron, Pindemonte and Canova.

In Montebelluna we are in the so called North-Western Marca. The area is characterized by mountains which slowly transform into green hills cultivated with vineyards, scattered with splendid townships such as Asolo and beautiful mansions such as the Barbaro di Maser villa, one of the greatest examples of the ingenuity of Andrea Palladio. The northern Marca is especially renowned for its production of Prosecco wine, whilst the town of Oderzo stands out in the eastern Marca, created as a pile-dwelling settlement of ancient Veneti, then transformed into a major town during the Roman era.

  Offerta apprezzata molto, in quanto gli spazi sono molto ampi. E' un tuffo nella storia in quanto gli ambienti e il clima porta tutto agli anni che furono. Il giardino è molto grande, è come essere separati dal resto del mondo. Inoltre nelle vicinanze abbiamo potuto usufruire degli impianti sportivi locali. Data la posizione strategica ho avuto l'opportunità di fare dei succulenti tour enogastronomici nella provincia di Treviso e di vedere splendide città d'arte come Venezia, Treviso, Conegliano e Vittorio Veneto.
