Our Cottage Cabernet is situated in the up-market leafy suburb of Constantia. Close to the Constantia wine routes, premier golf courses, the Constantia Village Shopping Centre, beaches, Kirstenbosch Gardens and nature reserves. This self-catering accommodation is an ideal base from which to explore the Cape. Take a day trip to the world renowned Stellenbosch and Paarl, with their fine restaurants and wine routes or try the historical Tulbagh, famous for its Cape Dutch architecture and excellent restaurants.

Ground Floor:

Open plan lounge, open plan dining room with 4-seater dining table, leather seats and daybed. Open Plan TV room with Satellite-TV (DSTV/Deukom), all with underfloor heating. Fully fitted kitchen open plan onto living area, with big fridge and freezer, ceran stove, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, underfloor heating. Second Storey:

Bedroom 1 contains a King Size Bed with built-in cupboard, bedside tables with side lights, underfloor heating, hairdryer, Satellite-TV (extra loudspeakers), double window doors open onto garden. Bedroom contains Queen Size Bed, bedside tables with side lights, built-in cupboard, underfloor heating. Window shows nice view to mountains in the winelands.

Both bedrooms en-suite with an elegant and stylish bathroom with a nice deep corner bath, big shower cabin, smart basin/cabinet, corner toilet, soft fluffy towels provided, underfloor heating.

We are situated in Constantia, which is a wonderful green suburb of Cape Town in the oldest wine region of South Africa, Constantia Valley. This suburb, close to Table Mountain, has got an excellent infrastructure with all amenities as well as a beautiful landscape with hiking trails: We are close to shopping facilities (e.g. Constantia Village), Steenberg Golf Course, the Famous Cape Wine Routes and have got excellent restaurants "around the corner". The beaches which offer lot of water sport as well as Downtown Cape Town with all its attractions, such as the Waterfront, museums and theatres, Cape Malay Quarter, Parliament, Companies Garden, the Cable Way, Markets you can reach in 15 to 20 minutes, and the list goes on.

Confirmation of Booking

Bookings will be officially confirmed once a deposit of 50% of the whole amount has been paid. All bookings need to be done this way. This is not refundable unless that booking period can be rebooked with other people. In such a case a 10% administration fee would be charged and subtracted.

The remaining 50% MUST be paid into the Landlord’s account latest two weeks before arrival, after which all renters details will be made available.

In the case of the booking being cancelled during the rental period or with a no show then the following rules apply

Cancellation until 10 days before arrival
= 100% of the amount of the rental

Cancellation until 11 – 30 days before arrival
= 50% of the amount of the rental

Cancellation 31 – 60 days before arrival
= 35% of the amount of the rental

Earlier than 61 days before arrival
= 25% of the amount of the rental

Should we be able to rent out the units to other guests then the deposit will be prorated and returned (deduction of 10% as administration fee).

Discounts and Surcharges:
The prices shown are valid for a stay of minimum 7 days.
Discounts apply for longer stays from days 14, 28, 56 and 90 on and more.
Surcharges apply for shorter stays up to 6 and 1 days. Please ask for the rates.

Additional person over standard:
ADULTS (from 17 years of age): as 5th person we charge R300.00 as flat fee

KIDS (up to 16 years the age):
Toddler up to 2 years of age sleeping in a cot we charge nothing. Kids as 5th person we charge 50% of the flat fee for an adult person.

Payments: Electronic Bank Transfers or Cash accepted only.

Bookings can be finally confirmed, when 50% of the full accommodation fee has been received. Both 50% of the full accommodation fee and the deposit to be paid into our bank account immediately after reservation. Banking details will be provided at reservation. The balance is to be paid 14 days prior arrival latest.
