This is a Beautiful 2 bedroom guest house, on a stunning ocean front property with direct access to private beach. It is a guest house that is located on the owners property but is very private with partial ocean view from balcony. We give rides to other beaches around the island and to and from the airport. Most Exclusive Island : Contadora Island Is the most exclusive Island on the Archipielago of Las Perlas, located in the Pacific ocean. Past home of the Sha of Iran, and frequented by Jimmy carter who signed the Treaty of the turn over of the Panama Canal on one of our beautiful beaches now known as 'Executive Beach'. It is a very exclusive and quiet Island and If you are looking to rest and relax away from it all, this is the place to be.
There are about 3 convenient/grocery stores around the Island which have all of your basic needs.
There are also several Restaurants around the Island such as: Villa Romantica Restaurant, Geralds, Pizzeria and Punta Galeon Restaurant. We will take you to any restaurant on the Island.
Nature Friendly: Nature is one of the most beautiful things to observe while on the Island. Besides being able to scuba dive and sometimes during the right month being able to spot see whales and dolphins, there are Iguanas, birds and deers that can be seen all around.
Only a short 20 min flight from panama city: The easiest way of getting to Contadora Island is by commercial plain, thanks to 2 airlines : Air Panama and Aeroperlas who have many flights to and from the Island; There is also a 2 hour Ferry run Thursday through Monday

Stayed here for one month. Exactly as described,this bright, spotless, well appointed, 2 bedroom apartment is situated over a garage and maids quarters, P, behind the owners villa on the waterfront. The rental has it's own entrance up a flight of stairs and balcony, with a pleasant outlook to gardens and partial ocean view, we saw agoutis, Parrots,Frigate Birds, Pelicans and Deer regularly from here.
You have use of the private beach(down steep stairs) which was non existant at high tide, but that had some of the best snorkeling we have seen almost anywhere, saw Moray Eels, Sea Turtles, Mobula Rays and an incredible amount of tropical fish, bring a mask and snorkel, or rent, from the dive shop.
The villa is well located on the north side of the island, much cooler with the breezes in the dry season, away from the noisy airport. We walked everywhere,never more than a 40 min walk from anything on Contadora,locals will often stop and offer you a lift when passing you. Executive Beach is a 10 min walk down the hill, the best Restaurant on the Island at Romantico Resort is about 20 mins. The stores at Punta Galeon are 30 mins, but adrianna would give a lift in her buggy when we needed groceries and ordered beer and wine at cheaper prices from the barge. For longer stays I would recommend that you bring boxes/coolers of food with you from the mainland, the selection at the stores on the island is poor and extremely expensive. Bring frozen meats, cold cuts and cheeses and nice bread for sure, you can bring them with you on the ferry for a small extra charge.
One small negative, is that there are no blinds/curtains on windows,would have to undress with the lights out,and the sun would shine in early in the am.
We got the chance to see other accomodations,and for the price this place is unbeatable! Adrianna was a great help in translating for us over the phone when we had a problem in Panama City after leaving Contadora. Thanks adrianna and Jerry, Awesome! We'll be back. -

Our stay at adriana and Jerry's villa was one of the best places we have stayed anywhere in the world. The Villa is beautiful and wonderfully set up as a home away from home. Everything was clean and comfy - a beautiful place to come home to after expoloring Contadora Island.
Adriana and Jerry are immpecable hosts. They were always happy to give rides when needed, arranged for wine and water to be delivered to our door, and incredibly helpful when the need to speak fluent Spanish arose. They are kind and thoughtful people. We cannot say enough about our stay with them.

My wife and I booked for 7 weeks last November and we were so happy with staying there on the island we booked 2 weeks more.
We found everything in the apartment we needed for a healthy and relaxing stay. Fine appliances, a wonderful deck equipped with a Bar-B-Q and a nice spacious bathroom.
Within a few minutes walk of the place are two beaches. Executive beach is one of the best sand beaches on the island. The other is right below Villa Marquez, its rocky but great for swimming only.
