This lovingly restored three-level house is located in the historic centre of the picturesque medieval village of Conversano, Puglia, just a 10-minute drive from the beaches of Polignano a Mare. The stone house features a large living room on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the upper floors. It comfortably sleeps 5 people, and is elegantly furnished with clean, modern furniture. Conversano is strategically located in the lovely countryside of Puglia only 10minuts away by car from the beaches of Polignano a Mare. The town is lively and sophisticated and full of events through the whole summer. Enjoy the “passeggiata” in the cobblestone paved old town streets full of shops and restaurants. The house itself if a beautifully restored, spacious town house in a traditional Italian village. We went at the height of the summer, and the streets were nicely quiet during the day, bustling and busy in the evening, and it was all very authentic and unspoilt. The beautiful town of Polignano a Mare with its beach is 10 minutes away by car. You definitely need a car to explore the region - but with one there is a huge amount to do, from visiting the ruins of Matera, beautiful clear beaches down south by Gallipoli (about two hours away), and various agri turismos where you can be fed authentic Italian food. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay a comfortable one.
