With easy access to I-5, Cedar Bluff Cottage is located 50 miles north of Seattle and 90 miles south of Vancouver, BC . Situated at the gateway to the scenic Skagit Valley, known for some of the most picturesque farmlands, island and mountain views in the Pacific Northwest. The cottage faces west overlooking the magnificent Skagit River delta with a panoramic view of Skagit Bay, farmlands and the islands beyond.
With a backdrop of more than one hundred year old Douglass Fir, Red Cedar and Vine Maple trees, the cottage is a private place with its own four acre woodlands for exploration.

DEPOSIT:
$150.00 deposit fee is requested to confirm a two night reservation. $300 is requested for stays 4 nights or longer. $400 for week long stays. Deposit fees will be deducted from the total amount due prior to processing the final payment.

RATES:
Nightly Rate: $125.00 per night mid-week (T,W,Th) for 1 to 2 people, one bedroom, two-night minimum stay
$150.00 per night for weekends for 1 to 2 people, one bedroom, two-night minimum
Holidays: Three night minimum stay required
Additional Guests:
$25.00 per bedroom, per night, up to a maximum of six occupants total
Weekly Rate:Seven-nights: $850.00 per week for 1 to 2 people (one bedroom); $1000.00 per week for 3 to 4 people (two bedrooms); $1150.00 per week for 5 to 6 people (all three bedrooms)
Sales tax is an additional 9.8% charge to above rates.

USAGE - Cedar Bluff Cottage is considered rented to the person whose name is on the confirmed reservation. The Cottage may not be re-assigned, sublet or gifted to any person without permission in writing from the proprietor.
The Cottage, woodland, garden and lawns are all available to the guests booked at Cedar Bluff Cottage. The property is not suitable for weddings, large parties, or family reunions.
DAMAGE - Any damage or breakage costs will be charged to the person who was confirmed for the reservation.
CANCELLATION POLICY – Deposit will be refunded less a $25 booking fee if notice is given 14 days prior to arrival for stays three nights or less. Thirty (30) days notice is required for stays four nights or longer. If notified less than this, monies paid will be forfeited unless the property is rebooked for the reserved time. The $25 booking fee will apply.

I hesitate to write this review because I fear too much competition when I wish to return! Driving to this lovely cottage took me through picturesque farmlands, and the pastoral setting with views of Puget Sound and the hills of the mainland and islands from the kitchen and living room are magnificent. When I entered the cottage, I immediately felt at home. Dawn and David have created a fabulous experience for those who have the great fortune to stay here. Everything from the high-end sheets and towels to the teapot and toothpicks are provided for comfort. The interesting pictures and appropriate antiques throughout the home add to the pleasure of the getaway. I have already made plans to return!

I could not have chosen a more delightful place to stay on my getaway week! The cottage is so much more beautiful in person and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. The Chaplins have done a wonderful job in restoring the cottage and it feels almost like home. Each room is so comfortable that I have a hard time deciding if I want to move to another room! The wonderful bed in the blue room was the icing on the cake. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud!
The views are so beautiful and I can never get tired of them. Each day the view was spectacular no matter what the weather was doing. I enjoyed the eagles, hawks, and the deer and will miss all of my wildlife friends and Dawn and David Chaplin! I can't wait to come back!

Beautiful cottage, comfortable, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable with high-quality linens. The view is excellent in a very quiet, private location. We found the cottage to be very convenient to nearby points of interest and local shopping and dining. We can't think of a negative thing to say about our lovely weekend at Cedar Bluff Cottage. It was just fabulous.

Dawn & David's acute attention to details in both the decoration and provision of every possible supplies one may need is very evident. One feels so "cosseted" & appreciated as a guest - nothing is lacking. I loved the décor so calming & serene - and as for the view...words are not enough. I just sat in enraptured appreciation of the wonderful sights to be had from all angles!

We were only there for 2 days, and wish it could have been longer...next
time...Having stayed in other Rental vacation homes, over the years,
can't tell you how comfortable, homey and just, well wonderful this
place is. Every time I turned to see if something I needed was here, I
found it. So well thought out. Enjoyed all the touches: the artwork,
furniture, entertainment center, even the LaOccitaine amenities...
Dawn, it was lovely to meet you and your beautiful home you put so
much hard work & obviously love into...I so look forward to future

Recommended to me as I and friend were over from England visiting various places. Stayed for 3 nights but wished we had booked for week or more. Scenery from Cottage was magnificant. Spotlessly clean and well equipped throughout. The beds and seating in the living room all very comfortable No need to go out for meals as it was a joy to cook in kitchen taking in the views. A wonderful time in this quiet secluded cottage. Highly recommended.
