This home is absolutely stunning!! We found everything as described online and in the lease. The view of the lake is beautiful, and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning on either the deck or the stone patio closer to the lake was a real treat. My children thoroughly enjoyed the paddle boats and canoe that were available, and so did grandpa. We will come back every year!

We had a great vacation at the Treehouse. The refrigerator gave us trouble but the owner got right on it and made it right. We brought our jetski and had a lot of fun on the lake.

We could not have been more pleased with the house, the setting on the lake, the cleanliness, and thoughtfulness of the Millers, as owners. Ours was a group of 6 adults and 6 kids visiting the Hall of Fame for a long weekend. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the proximity to town made the baseball lovers very happy. The welcome package waiting for us upon arrival was a nice touch, as well as the Thank You note when we got home. Clearly, a lot of though and care was put into our stay by the Millers. We can't wait to return!

The "Tree House" is perfect for a family vacation - secluded but so close to all local attractions. Relaxing and tranquil. The views of the lake are spectacular and we enjoyed playing and sitting by the lake even in the early spring. We really recommend staying at this house and visiting the Cooperstown area. The owners were very helpful in arranging our vacation, especially at short notice.

We recently had the pleasure of spending a week in this beautiful log home. The house exceeded our expectations in every way! The views from every room were spectacular and the location on the lake was perfect. We were lucky enough to have had mostly perfect weather, and the few days when it was rainy, we relaxed indoors by the gorgeous stone fireplace. This was a family vacation with ages ranging from 50s to 2 and everyone had a wonderful time. The nights by the bonfire were great as there was plenty of wood to be found which kept the younger ones busy! We are all hoping to return again, possibly in the warmer weather, so as to enjoy swimming, boating and fishing.

NYCMagical!
Left on 11/19/2010 for a stay in August 2010
Our family stay on Lake Otsego at this house was nothing short of magical. The house is very private and tucked away in the woods, with beautiful views of the lake and lake access. We were able to get a lot of both play and kick-back-and-relax time in.
Whether taking one of the available kayaks out, going for a swim off the dock, wandering around Cooperstown and its environs, or just hanging out on the porch at the end of the day - the house and its surrounding property felt comfortable and inviting.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would welcome the opportunity for a return trip! -
Birthday celebration

We celebrated my husband's 65th at the Treehouse and we had a fabulous time. Bill greeted us with info and a bottle of wine. There were things to do for our 2 and 4 year old grandchildren, our children and us. It allowed us all to gather in a beautiful and peaceful environment surrounded by beauty inside and out. All our needs were met. My husband was able to enjoy the Hall of Fame (as we all did) and cross it off his "Bucket" list, and we all fished off the dock which made our 4 year olds whole weekend when he caught a couple fish! The fireplace certainly became the center of things as there was constantly a log on the fire. The peace and quiet, and time away from computers, cell phones and TVs just made the whole time more relaxing. Bill has a beautiful home that fits the landscape perfectly and we were glad we got to experience the area in such warm and comfortable surroundings.

Our home has hosted a number of "significant" birthdays and we are really happy your entire family enjoyed their time in Cooperstown. Hope to see you again, Bill

Easton PAA luxury lakeside retreat
Left on 11/03/2010 for a stay in September 2010
This is truly a retreat: a place to relax, unwind, enjoy the quiet and the beauty of the surroundings. The log home is awesome: instantly welcoming, beautifully decorated and equipped, yet warm and inviting; we felt very comfortable and very much at home. The attention to detail is evident throughout. There is plenty of room for a large group; if you travel with kids, the lower level would be a perfect area for them to entertain themselves. I particularly enjoyed the fireplace on the main level (with a fire all set and ready to be lit when we arrived!). This is an ideal, all-season location, within minutes to Cooperstown and all that it offers, or to the other little villages in the area. Summer sports are right out the door (the lake is gorgeous), several museums and other historic sites are found right around the lake, and the state park is within walking distance. What I personally enjoyed most was the amazing sense of peacefulness I experienced from the moment I arrived. What I liked least? Having to leave. .
