  First the positives, this is a well presented, comfortable apartment with a slightly artistic feel in a terrific location for exploring Copnehagen. The downside is that there are a number of factors which prospective clients should know. Firstly, you must wheel your luggage over a heavy cobbled street through cheek to jowel pedestrians as there is no taxi access. Secondly, the description says a quiet, courtyard but in fact there is serious construction to a 6 story apartment block happening literally at front and back doors with complimentary jack hammers and hammering. As the building is still a shell, this may be a long term prospect. Thirdly, we waited for 30 minutes post luggage struggle for the representative to arrive. Fourthly, the cleaning fee extra to the renatl @ 130 euro, still meant we had to make our own bed and empty the previous tenants rubbish!
  We happened to arrive at the time of a storm event which left us without hot water for the duration of our stay, despite this being outside the control of the company, they did not inform us and when we brought it to their attention they did not offer either an alternative arrangement, an enquiry as to how we were coping or dare I say it ...a reduction in rental. We did not shower for 4 days! There is no microwave or toaster and at the risk of being really picky, there is inadequate lighting throughout the apartment, no central lighting only lamps. There are no curtains or blinds for privacy and as the light streams in at 4 am no blackout.
  Sadly these are mainly service/website disclosure issues, we did not hear from the company for the length of our stay despite these challenges. When I wrote explaining my dissatisfaction, they sent me a trip advisor glowing endorsement and shrugged off my concerns with "no one else has complained" and they would "speak to the cleaners"!
  Perhaps for the duration of the construction works, a discount could be offered or at least disclosure on the website. Ditto the lack of door to door access.
  This is a nice apartment, in a great location but buyer beware a few points.

  Perfection in Copenhagen

  This was the first trip for my wife and I with our new baby, who was 5 months at the time of travel. We were looking for an easy vacation in an exciting city, and this apartment in Nyhavn definitely met all of our needs, and then some.
  
  From the start, the correspondence with the rental agency was friendly and fast. They answered all of our questions, and the booking process was simple with a very clear contract and rental terms.
  
  On arrival in Copenhagen, after a quick and seamless train ride from the airport, we were greeted by one of the owners in front of the apartment, who not only brought a crib for the baby, but helped us with our ridiculous amount of luggage that goes along with travelling with children. After a short walk through a courtyard that provides perfect distance from any noise on the street, our first glance inside the apartment almost knocked us over. Extremely spacious and bright, immaculate, and exquisitely furnished, with an amazing kitchen and a quiet bedroom at the end of the hall for our early sleeper.
  
  The location in Nyhavn is truly ideal. We walked to everything, although a major subway and bus stop is only minutes away if need be. The location is safe and very central, and a perfect place to start and end each day with many restaurant options (most with outdoor seating options), and bakeries and cafes. They were already beginning their celebrations for Jul (Christmas), and all of Nyhavn was decorated with lights and various market stands. There were also several grocery store options nearby, perfect for using the gourmet kitchen. We recommend the canal tour that leaves regularly mere steps from the apartment, it's a great way to explore the city on one of your first days there.
  
  We can't speak highly enough of both the city and the apartment, and will definitely plan a return trip in the near future. We highly recommend this apartment, and would not hesitate to book again with apartmentInCopenhagen
