The special area of Estate Fortsberg, where Secret Sea Shell is located, is pristine and private, along a private dirt road by the edge of the harbor. It is graced by untouched shoreline, ideal for beach combing, and woods that is home to a variety of wildlife including a great many birds. A corral along the county road leading to Secret Sea Shell provides opportunities for horseback riding in the area. And yet as private as this protected peninsula is, it is only a ten-minute drive from the hamlet of Coral Bay, with its eclectic good and affordable restaurants, shops, and opportunities for watersports. The National Park, with its hiking trails and gorgeous beaches, is also nearby. A more desirable situation cannot be found on the beautiful island of St. John.
