What a beautiful retreat to spend a vacation in St. John.
We stayed at St. John Livin' the first week of February. The house is immaculate. Beautiful hardwood floors, Trex deck (no splinters in your feet), large hot tub, plunge pool (too cold in February for me), many seating options outside; great setup with the kitchen. Up the hill from Cases by the Sea and a great BBQ place (Reggie's); close to Cocoloba Plaza where you can rent snorkel equipment (Crabbie's) and pick up groceries. St. John Livin' is 15 minutes from Maho, Francis and Waterlemon. Wi-fi was speedy, Dish Network on TV (though we could only get shopping channels and religious programming). Wasn't a problem for me as I don't come to St. John to watch TV. They had a DVR with a nice assortment of movies. Fridge looked practically new. They had a blender for mixing your pina coladas. We only cooked for breakfast but the pots and pans were in great condition, some brand new. Great breezes running through the house, you never needed the a/C though it was available in the bedroom. Has a washer and dryer so you can pack carry on only as we did, though we didn't need to. Had nice beach chairs, cooler and beach towels to bring to the beaches.
The property manager greeted us at the house and showed us everything we needed to know about the place.
I recommend you stock up on groceries at the Starfish in Cruz Bay before you come over to the Coral Bay side as prices are higher.
Waking up to the sunrise was great every morning as the bedroom sliding door faces the East. One night I woke up to a sliver of moonlight illuminating Coral Bay and the the ocean and it was amazing. I thought any minute I was going to see a whale breeching in the distance.
We would definitely stay here again and plan on it next time when just the two of us come. -

My husband and I stayed at St. John Livin' for 9 days to celebrate our 10 year anniversary! It was the best!!! We have been to St. John before, but our stay this time by far was the best. The home is everything you could ask for from the private pool, hot tub, privacy, priceless views and the location to Coral Bay and the beaches. The house was clean and cozy with the best sunrises and beautiful views of the Bvi's. The coastal breezes kept the home cool all day, the hot tub was fanastic at night under the starry sky and the pool was refreshing during the warm days. It was hard to leave the house to go to the beaches with all the amenities, but when we did, the beautiful beaches of Francis Bay or Maho Bay were just a quick drive away. The relaxing side of Coral Bay on St John is just what we needed with its laid back atmosphere and wonderful restaurants. I hope that we can return soon and stay at St. John Livin' again! Big thanks to the management staff of Thia and Gwen for all their help in making this trip fabulous and all their recommendations.

Beautiful, and ideal for a couple. The cottage contains everything you could need, and the views from the deck are amazing. The hot tub and pool were great, and the attention to detail the owners have, is amazing. We couldn't find anything else we could need. We cooked at home on several evenings, and often finished the night in the hot tub, star gazing. Very private and romantic.
