Description from the owner
Carmen´s House (Casa de Carmen) is more than four hundred years old, as it is listed in registers before 1647. Its restoration was complete because only the outside building walls were preserved. Its restoration as a house typical of a seaside town was observed, thus , it has wood ceiling and floor.
At the entrance, a stone arch reveals us its past. On the the first floor you will enjoy the fireplace in the living room, kitchen and shower with light and rain effect. Where is it? Carmen´s House is located in the old city in Corcubión, this town council was declared touristic interest and historical –artistic monument.

Corcubión is located in the Death Coast . It is not exactly known where the name of the Death Coast comes, it may be due to any of the following reasons; the first and the one which seems to be more realistic is related to the fact that it takes its name of the continuous shipwrecks caused by the storms which produce the death of sailors and fishermen. The other one, more poetic, is related to this end of the world as the place where the sun dies.

La estancia en esta casa es perfecta en cada uno de sus rincones. HabÃamos puesto las expectativas muy altas al ver la web, y podemos decir que ha conseguido encandilarnos.
La decoración está cuidada al mÃnimo detalle para que sientas que estás en una casa única. El equipamiento es perfecto para hacer lo que uno quiera.
Lo único que eché en falta en el dÃa lluvioso de ayer era el Wifi en mi portátil, pero Jose ya nos dijo que esaban pensando en ponerlo por lo que si volvemos la próxima vez seguro que ya lo tienen jeje.
Dar las gracias Jose y ana (no tuvimos el placer de conocerla) por su fantástica hospitalidad.
Esperamos veros pronto de nuevo. -

We are a couple of Pontevedra and we spent two nights in this wonderful house in the area Corcubión and certainly a great choice. Owners incredible, their treatment is unique because they are attentive to every detail that may arise, cleaning is pristine, looks like you've been the first step on the house, details of a luxury... The town is small but charming, the treatment of neighbors was fantastic... awesome everything. The house from the outside to the inside is genial from the outset, decoration and meticulous restoration to the smallest detail... There are no words to describe the good feeling and the desire to return this house certainly unique.
Greetings to Jose and ana from Silvia and James. We remember a lot of our days there.
