Situated in the middle of rugged Sierra of Cordoba , El Durazno a very small village crossed by a beautiful river, just past the village of Yacanto de Calamuchita.

La Siesta welcomes you to enter this world of tranquility sharing the encounter with nature, senses and rest.

The house is off-grid, powered by solar panels for energy , and is located in a pristine remote valley in the beautiful valle de Calamuchita. The house observes key green principals of smaller footprint, minimal disturbance to the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape, use of renewable resources, and living simply and minimally.

Located in the province of Cordoba, nearby several unique attractions, World heritage site Estancias Jesuisticas from the 1615 , Alta Gracia home town and museum of Che Guevara, quebrada del condorito national park, several lakes where you can enjoy water sports.

The setting of the house is remote and serene, a quiet refuge from everything, free from distractions. Amazing views.

Intentionally there is no television and no wifi so that one can truly experience being in a place of extreme natural beauty, and take note of the play of light and shadow, and other natural phenomena.

Perfect for design or green aficionados, writers or those needing a secluded getaway.

How do damage deposits work?
