This magnificent large early 19th century villa, has been lovingly restored to maintain the romantic ambience of a previous age.
The elevated position allows 360 degree views.
The secluded swimming pool has stunning views across the wild garden to the hills and villages beyond. The elevated pool has a grass sloping area behind, with a warm natural stone surround and sun-loungers to relax in. There is a solar cover to keep the heat in the water, this is automatic and when switched on opens and disappears leaving the heated pool ready to be enjoyed. Perched in the Tuscan hillside, but with just a 17 minute walk to coffee bars, local shops and a restaurant, Colletto is perfectly located for a relaxing holiday where you can sample true Italian life.
Laze around the pool, or discover the mountain trail walks. Lie and sunbathe on the terrace, or even have the chef entertain you with a pizza party using the pizza oven on the terrace and cooking with all local ingredients.
If you wish to travel further (car hire is recommended), there are sandy beaches at Forte di Marme, museums and art galleries in historic Florence, Sienna or shop in the beautiful city of Lucca.

Villa Colletto is the ideal place to spend an unforgetable holiday amidst the ideallic and tranquil Tuscan countryside. The villa is very well appointed, but is also beautifully decorated and furnished in a style appropriate to it's style and location. The fanastic swimming pool area and lovely terraced gardens provide great spaces to relax and the sun terrace with it's stone pizza oven provides the perfect setting for alfesco dining. There are a number of good restuarants within 15 minutes drive of Villa Colletto and the local village shop and coffee bar are about 10 minutes walk away. During our stay we were made very welcome by the owner and local staff. I will definitely visit Villa Colletto again and would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

This place was absolutely breathtaking. There were amazing views in every direction, photos just don't do it justice! I was especially impressed with the attention to detail in the luxurious accommodations and modern amenities, the furniture, the layout, the gardens, the architecture, everything! Every photo you take around the grounds of the villa could be made into a classical oil-painted masterpiece, you're surrounded by picturesque mountains and villas below. It was relaxing and comfortable, with plenty to do nearby, although I was hard pressed to leave the terrace with its outdoor oven. I definitely plan on returning!
