Porth cottage is situated less than 1 mile from Goonhavern village that has a traditional Cornish pub and shop, the miles of golden sandy beaches are less than a ten minute drive away. The North Coast of Cornwall has an abundance of attractions like Newquay Zoo, Blue Reef Aquarium and the Eden Project nearby. Perranporth village is in close proximity and entices sunbathers, surfers and families with its three mile long sandy shores, where you and your family can have lunch in the Watering Hole pub situated in a prime position directly on the beach. We rented this cottage after using Country view last year & again we were not left dissapointed.
The location, facilities & size were all upto the high expections we were use to.
Set in a small 4 cottage complex with a swimming pool kids play area & large field to the rear of the coattages is a place to die for.
Remote enough to be away from the hussle & bussle but also close enough to travel to the beaches & tourist attraction in South Cornwall.
Only 6 miles from Newquay & 2 miles from the stunning Perrenporth beach.
It was ideal for use to get away with the dog.
Highly recommendded. 5 stars.

Lovely accomodation, clean comfortable with the added bonus of a garden with a pond and a lovely pool for a early morning dip!
Good location, close to beaches and also for bird watching on the headland.
Very well maintained and managed.
We enjoyed our visits to both the Cider Farm and Callestock Icecream Farm, the coconut icecream was just...well.. amazing!
Hope to return next year. -

We stayed at the cottage for 1 week in March. We were lucky enough to have sunshine all week. Our party included 4 adults and our chocolate Labrador. The cottage is ideally placed in the middle of Cornwall allowing you to travel in any direction without long travel times. There is a field to walk your pet on site before setting off on your daily travels. The cottage is spotless and has all amenities.
If you have children there is a shared play area and heated swimming pool from april onwards -
Overall a fantastic relaxing holiday for the adults and lots of exercise for our dog Harry.Response from Country View Cottages - 05/02/2012
