A lovely stone built former coach house with wonderful sea views, sleeping five people over three bedrooms in the fishing village of Newlyn on Cornwall. Pause while reading a good book to take a sip of coffee and enjoy the wonderful sea views from your mezzanine reading area – this dream can be reality if you stay at The Coach House, a welcoming holiday property set over three levels, which enjoys some amazing views over Newlyn harbour towards Mount’s Bay. There is a ground floor double room with en-suite, a first floor double and a second floor single. The first floor kitchen again enjoys sea views, and doors from the dining are...a lead out onto the terrace to really soak up the atmosphere. Visit St Michael’s Mount, or try your hand at surfing on the nearby beaches, or simply stroll the coastal paths. A lovely holiday property in a great holiday location.

Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Newlyn in Cornwall is a fishing port whose buildings cluster around the harbour, and two quays full of boats. There are amenities in the village including a shop and a pub, and the beauty of Cornwall is evident all around this area. The coastal path runs nearby and walkers will enjoy spotting the flora and fauna on land, and perhaps even glimpsing basking sharks and grey seals in the waters. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet, liegt aber ziemlich eingezwängt. Die elektrischen und sanitären Installationen sind etwas skuril. Vom Hauptschlafzimmer aus muss man entweder eine Treppe nach oben oder eine nach unten, um in eine Toilette zu gelangen. Es gibt nur ein Badezimmer im obersten Stock und ein Toilette sowie eine separate Dusche im Erdgeschoss. Alles ist nicht sehr komfortabel. Es gibt keine Liegen auf der Terrasse. Die Vermieterin verlangt, dass man vor der abreise sauber macht, obwohl ein Reinigungsteam kommt. Am 4. Tag unseres aufenthaltes haben wir einen Topf voller Curry, von den Vormietern sorgfältig im Küchenschrank versteckt, gefunden. Dass derlei offenbar häufiger vorkommt, ist wohl der Grund dafür, dass die Vermieterin 100 Pfund Kaution verlangt. Wir würden das Haus nicht weiter empfehlen, weil es nicht unseren Vorstellungen von einer komfortablen Unterkunft entspricht. Andere Urlauber werden das sicher anders sehen. In der Küche gibt es nicht genügend Geschirr, Gläser, Töpfe und Pfannen. In einer Stadt mit Fischerhafen, in der Krustentiere und Muscheln wirklich frisch sind, sollten ausreichend große Töpfe für die Zubereitung zur Verfügung stehen.
  Wir haben von der agentur erst auf unser drängendes Bitten hin zwei Tage vor der Reise eine Lagebeschreibung des Hauses erhalten.

  A beautiful house with a marvellous view. The owner is also extremely helpful & welcoming. If you adore fish, there's a fine array of mongers 3 mins walk away .
