There were 18 of us in this very comfortable home. The beach was a close walk, pool was great. Absolutely had a fabulous time.

We found the home to be comfortable, with pleasing decor and lay-out. There were a few maintaance problems which were not addressed properly. The wet carpets from the leak on the first floor were not dried as promised, the living room fan was not fixed or even looked at, the drier would not dry for long periods, but we should have reported that sooner. It seemed odd that though the kitchen was well-equiped, there wasn't even toliet paper in any bathroom. Bring your own is definately necessary here.

Loved our stay.
Overall, a very great price for the week with an extra day for Thanksgiving.
The home presented plenty of space with mostly comfortable furnishings.
It had plenty of tech equipment, tv's, etc. but some issues with Wifi not working...does happen.
Problem was addressed by OBB. Cable had a complex fix.
Worked for two days then went down again. This time someone in our party with tech experience reassigned a PW to router and it worked.
The other issues I would address for updating are
1. a new mattress in master upstairs...worn out.
2. directions for stereo equipment...did not work with TV in theater room. Some improvement in bedding...musty in some rooms and the bathrooms need painting in some...mostly tub areas.
The overall experience compared to last years home was compareable. The issues are minor to fix. -

We had a wonderful time staying at "A Promise Kept". The house was well appointed. The only thing missing was an elevator!!! These old knees had a hard time going up all the stairs! :)
We enjoyed the the pool, the hot tub, the pool table and the big screen TVs! It was wonderful to have a table big enough to very comfortably seat all 15 of us. And being able to load up 2 dishwashers instead of having to do some of the dishes by hand was a great luxury.
The walk to the beach was not too long and it was a short drive to the Light House.
My granddaughter keeps asking to go back to Granny's house at the beach! Wish we lived close enough to do that more often! -

We enjoyed our stay at a Promise Kept in Corolla. Huge dining room table, great pool for volleyball, great hot tub. We didn't expect to use the movie theatre room as much as we did - it's great for rainy days.

Stayed here with 4 families. Very beautiful and comfortable house. Loved the movie room! The grilling area(charcoal) next to the pool was a very nice place to hang out with cocktails and conversation while grilling-lots of privacy.
Short walk to the beach. Close to Whalehead Park-a great place for crabbing! Plenty of room at this house for everyone in the family. -

Eighteen of us had a wonderful time. Our Family all agreeded that "A Promis Kept" had the best location. We enjoyed being within walking distance of the beach, and a great place to ride our bikes. We joyed being able to bike to the light house and the beach where only four wheeled vehicles can drive. It is also convient for our trips to the grocery store. The house also had a great pool and movie room. The kids enjoyed how large the room was where they could shoot pool. We had a great vacation!

My wife and I decided to rent a beach house for our families when we got married. After narrowing the choices down from about fifteen, we chose a Promise Kept. After staying in the house for one week, we know that we made the right decision. The location is great: there was plenty enough parking for everyone, the house was within walking distance to the beach and a short distance from everything else we needed. The house itself is fantastic: all of the rooms were beautiful, the pool was warm and the media room was tremendous. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is looking to stay in the Outer Banks with a large group of people.

Everything was clean and functional. The equipment worked just fine. A little confused on when to bring out the garbage and what goes in the recycling bins. The house was just lovely and we can't wait to come back.

We really enjoyed this house! The beds were very comfortable and it was very spacious. It had all the amenities we could've asked for. We really enjoyed the theater room. As far as the location---there wasn't much open because it was during the off-season, but we just enjoyed spending time together in the house. We would definitely choose this house again.

We had the best time at this house. The house was very clean and was very well stocked. The media room on the main level was an extra touch. We will definitely go back.
