Seaside Heights was a very nice and clean house with beautiful views. Setting up the rental and actually getting into the house was very easy. We arrived about midnight so I was nervous that we would have trouble but entering was easy. Also, having linens already on the beds was awesome. Like most houses in the Outer Banks it was "upside down", with the living area on the third floor. This was a bit problematic for my 78 year old mother, but for the rest of us it was fine. Location to a supermarket, pizza, ice cream, etc was great! The only thing that we weren't too happy with was having to ride to the beach. We were told we would be able to walk to the beach as we were right across the streeet, but there wasn't any access. We like to come and go from the beach throughout the day, so this was a bummer. We chose to drive ourselves to the beach as the shuttle from the Currituck Club seemed crowded and it was too hot to wait. It was a short drive to the beach and we never had any trouble finding parking. The beach was great, although my teenagers typically preferred the pool, which was very nice. Plenty of chairs and lounges at poolside which was nice. The hot tub was also very clean and was a great plus for my teenagers. Good restaurants, mini golf, shops and a great farm stand just about a mile or so down the road. We drove our own Suburban onto the beach -to see the wild horses, it was really fun and the horses were beautiful. I would definitely rent from Outer Banks Blue again but would rent a house right on the beach next time. I wish this house was on the beach because the house itself was great, not too big like most houses in the Outer Banks. It was a great size for one family.

Love the home but we were cut short on our stay because Irene came to visit. This priceyvaction home since it was cut extremely short for us. We were glad to get in it since our home was effectived from the Hurricaine too. We would have come down with no electicity since we didn't have it here either. We had maditory evacustion here and having to pay for a hotel room and our vacation was a loss to us. We knew thought there would be inconveniences when we arrived but Corolla was better off than our town. Never have seen the beach with such debris and dead birds before...wish it could have been better. We will return as we love the Currituck Club.

Our stay at the Seaside Heights property was just perfect. The house is amazing and fully stocked. The house was tucked away on a cul-de-sac so it was very private. It was wonderful while in the kitchen/dining area to look out at the beach. It was just a nice to be able watch golfers on the back deck. We had 10 people staying in the house and it was more than comfortable. The pool was the perfect size for a group this large and the hot tub was wonderful. The community was amazing and the shuttle service to the beach was perfect. It was very convenient and the drivers were all very friendly. The only complaints we had were we needed more towels and the neighbor would let their dogs out at 6:30am and would let them bark until 7:00 - 7:30. With that being said the vacation was perfect other than the last two things. I would definatley come back and have already recommended this house to several people. A+++Vacation!!!

This house has all you would ever want. It is beautiful, tons of rooms for everyone to spread out, and of course the location in the Currituck Club is more than you can ask for! Loved watching people playing golf from the deck or looking to the left to see the ocean view. Outer Banks Blue again gave us a perfect vacation and their service was excellent! Just wish this home was available when we come back at Christmas! Will stay here again next year!

Ten of us spent a wonderful week at Seaside Heights
(2 parents, 7 twentysomethings, and Grandma- plus two dogs). The house was gorgeous (much prettier than could be captured in the photos),contemporary, and incredibly clean. The kitchen was stocked to satisfy any cooking needs and we shared dinner together at the huge dining room table enjoying the great views all but one night . The master bed /bath area was huge and beautiful, all other bedrooms and bathroom were spacious and had lovely decor. The back deck provided lots of 'chill with a beer' time while the front porch was the place to rock and relax, enjoying shade from the midday sun while reading and looking out at the ocean. The second story screen porch also provided a beautiful reprieve from the sun. The pool was cool, clean and private, many hours were spent hanging out there between our trolley rides to the beach. The convenience of having a wonderful grocery store within minutes was priceless with so many mouths to feed. Kudo to the owners and Outer Banks Blue for keeping the place in such beautiful condition We'd go back in a heartbeat!!

The house was terrific - Outer Banks Blue makes you feel very welcome. The keyless entry was a nice treat. The community was amazing and the house is perfectly located within the community.
However encountered a couple surprising disappointments - 1) the water at house was tinged orangish brown - which left the ice cubes was water unappealing to drink. Then, the washing machine water discolored and stained the towels and our clothes. 2) The garage door had to be manually operated b/c the electronic part didn't work. We reported these problems promptly and there were two calls made to the house by servicemen, however no one was able to solve/fix the problems.
I would say that the layout to the house is nice, but FYI to anyone who wants to rent- the middle floor has 3 bedrooms and a den with a pull-out couch. Two bedrooms (bunks and den) share 1 bathroom and another two bedrooms (queen and king) share another bathroom.
The house is perfectly located near Harris Teeter as well as not to far from the shops and activities at Timbuck II. The beach trolley was great - liked the idea of the beach valet and looked easy to use, but we never took advantage of this service.
It was a great week and experience, however I wish the water color issue could have been solved/fixed/avoided. Read more
Thanks for posting your review of Seaside Heights. It is in a great location, and I'm glad you had such a good time!
Sorry again about the water issue that you experienced. The house is supplied by the central water system from the County in that area, and they claim they found no issue when we got them to go to the property during your stay. It is our belief that they were flushing the lines which caused some minerals to get stirred up in their lines and thus the issue that you had, but the utility company would not confirm that. The good news is that it appears that the water problem was short term as the guests that followed you didn't seem to experience the discoloration of the water.
Thanks again for your insight on this beautiful home. We look forward to serving you again!
All the best from the beach!
Perfect family vacation

Everything was as advertised - extremely clean, nicely furnished, etc. The location is fine, but the beach access is a bit inconvenient, especially w/ dogs (the shuttle does not take pets). Otherwise, it was a great experience, & we would certainly consider returning.
We had an awesome time... Can't go wrong with Corolla. Property was on the golf course but sits at the end of a street and feels surprisingly secluded. Close to everything, not far from resort front gate and rec center, also grocery store, public beach access were also not far. Wild mustangs were just up the road...The house was amazing and clean, high ceilings felt very open, loved the gas grill on top deck. An all around good experience. No need to search next year for a vaca house we already know where we will be staying. You'll truly love it!!

Loved our vacation house and especially the keyless check in. I did think that $100 for early check in during off season was a little excessive but I would use Outer Banks Blue again. The staff was very friendly and answered all questiosn promptly. Seaside Heights was a great house, loved the views and the only thing missing was a steamer basket for the large pot, and also the house can use some new cookware. The screened porch was perfect for relaxing when you don't want full sun. Great house for 2 families.

We spent a wonderful week at the Outer Banks and absolutely loved this home! The views from the top floor and deck are amazing. Everything in the house was great - pool, jacuzzi, decks, bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, outdoor shower. And everything was so clean! The home was so comfortable and our dog enjoyed being able to come on vacation with us. The entire Currituck Club community is beautiful.
Keep in mind that if you vacation during the off season, the trolley is not running so you will have to drive a couple of miles to access the beach. We were worried that parking might be a problem but it wasn't. There were always plenty of spaces available. One thing that did surprise us is that some maintenance went on while we were staying there. A couple times during the week, when we went to roll the garbage cans out to the curb on pick up days, we found it had already been done for us. Also, halfway during the week, we noticed there was a gentleman cleaning the pool. It didn't bother us, but was unexpected.
This home is perfectly for families but also great for smaller groups. There were 4 of us plus our dog. We will definitely be renting this house in the future.

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and renting a home. This beautiful home had everything and more. It was such a welcoming home (the 3rd floor view was breathtaking. The home had everything you would need from books to read by the pool to everything to make a great homecooked meal.
The decor was very welcoming and relaxing.
The pool was fantastic and the location was perfect.
We would recommend this home to anyone. It really made our vacation top notch!

This home provided us with a week of ample family fun. First home we stayed at with a gas BBQ grill which our "grillin' dad" loved because it was on the upper deck with an oceanview. There was plenty of room and privacy for all. The Currituck Club is a special community and a short distance to the north beach ammenities.

From the moment we got the check-in by mail package, everything about this vacation exceeded our expectations. The keyless entry was convenient, the house was exactly as described, and couldn't have been in a better location for our family. The house was extremely clean and well appointed (there were even laundry baskets in all of the bedrooms)and everything we could've wanted was there. We are so looking forward to our vacation there next year. The pool and spa were delightful, and the views of the golf course were wonderful as well. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay!
