Phoenix, MDDecent house, well-stocked
Left on 08/27/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We stayed here for the first year. The house was in a great location, with an easy walk to the beach. The kitchen was so well stocked and we loved the fact that the house provided both bed and bath linens (beds even made for us). We also liked the keyless entry, it was great not to have to worry about carrying a key.
We did have an issue with the dishwasher not working which we were not told about. That was not a problem specifically with the house but with the realty company.
We loved that the house was dog-friendly. It was nice and clean. We did, however, find a live roach in the sunroom but once we got rid of it, we did not find anymore fortunately.
Overall, the house was very nice. -

This house is great. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen in a rental home I have ever rented. We were able to bring our dog Trevor and that is a great thing for our family. I know people worry about a house that you can bring your pets not being kept up. When you arrive you would never know they allow pets. The walk to and from the beach is not a bad walk at all. We arrived around 7:00pm Sunday night and loved not ahev to go some where to pick up keys so we loved the electronic lock also no worrying about kids plus our girls could go in and out by them selves from the beach. We did have to call maintance once for a backed up tub drain and they came out and cleared it right away. This was our first trip to the outerbanks and loved it. We would go back and stay at Margaritaville again in a minute. Oh and my last thing I loved the book the owners left with all the house info and info for the outerbanks it was very helpful.

MassachusettsGreat location, but house needs some TLC
Left on 10/04/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We stayed here shortly after Hurricane Irene hit the Outer Banks, so we had a pretty high tolerance for things not being exactly right in terms of cleanliness, etc. The house is really nice and in a really great location (only about 2 blocks from the beach) but it is in desperate need of new mattresses (I've never been so uncomfortable in a bed) and new sofas and chairs (or at least a really good cleaning). There were holes in the wall of one of the bedrooms and we had problems with the plumbing; i.e., the upstairs toilet overflowed and leaked into my daughter's bedroom on the floor below. If these things are taken care of, this home would be a 5-star for sure. Outer Banks Blue was great to work with and arranged for clean up, new linens, etc. Their keyless entry is fantastic.

Sterling, VAAnother Great Corolla/Margaritaville Experience
Left on 08/10/2011 for a stay in July 2011
This was our third year staying at Margaritaville and they continue to amaze us with new gadgets and comforts of home. We enjoyed our stay as usual. Cannot go wrong with this home, even if it does not have a pool. The hot tub is enjoyable as is the jetted tub in the master bedroom. You're at the beach right? Who needs a pool?

Left on 06/08/2010 for a stay in May 2010
Our family of three and dog had lots of room and much more. Enjoy the sunrise over the ocean on the top deck or take an easy walk 1/4 block over and one block up to the beach access. Leave your kitchen stuff at home because this place has it all from a breadmaker to an ice cream machine. The sunroom is awesome along with the great porch swing and hammock for that afternoon siesta or cocktails. Central location to any shopping you would want to do. Very dog freindly so bring the pooch. Booking and checkout was very easy and the beds are already made.

Sterling, VirginiaNicely designed home
Left on 07/22/2009 for a stay in July 2009
Margaritaville is a large home with a well thought out floor plan. This owner has taken time to document information about their home and present it in a interesting way to those who wish to learn more about it. Don't let the outside fool you. It is intended to be "weathered" and these owners are truely eco-friendly. The beach is a very short walk from the home (actually, three lots to be exact) where the sand is as soft as it could be. The beach is very clean. The house amenities are adequate in the kitchen. Many of the pots and pans were not washed, but was no big deal. The grill is a charcoal Weber Kettle (which was fine for us, we prefer charcoal to gas); however, past renters were not so polite with disposing of their ashes and unused charcoal. The chains on the bicycles were broken, but there are plenty of bike rental services around. This home did not have a beach cart available, so everyone had to help take items to and from the beach. We were comfortable and happy and the hot tub is the best. Only real complaint ... feather pillows!

The house was Great! The owners have a great house going for them and I would highly recomend the house to anyone looking to get away to sit on the beach, hang out with friends or family. Very well done home and the company the rents them out is very easy to work with as well.

Raleigh, NCGreat House - Great Vacation, Can't Wait to Go Back!!!!
Left on 10/01/2008 for a stay in June 2008
The house is in great shape and very clean. The hot tub was a lot of fun and its not far from the beach access. We loved hanging out on the front porch and sitting in the hammocks and swings. Everything we needed was there at the house and the key-less entry is great. If you haven't been to Corolla yet I highly recommend the beach, this house, and Outer Banks Blue Realty. This was our first trip to Corolla and we can't wait to go back again. I promise you won't regret it.

Baltimore, MDPerfect!
Left on 09/20/2008 for a stay in July 2008
We had a perfect vacation at Margaritaville! The house is beautiful, a nice size (not too overwhelming like some in the area), and priced just right. Most importantly for a family with small kids, it is a very easy walk to the beach. Our dog also loved it! We don't want to recommend it too highly though since it might get harder to rent next year!
