  Very nice, clean, well stocked kitchen. Nice pool and hot tub, nice community.Close to drive on beach,Harris Teeter Timbucktu Cotton Gin and other restaurants. Everything was exceptional except for the rental company...very unfriendly unhelpful girls. A little smile comes across the phone whether you know it or not. I won't rent from this realty company again.

  As Time Goes By was a perfect home for our family of 12!! We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of the home and the amenities were perfect. The pool was just the right size and the elevator was such a welcome bonus! The Currituck Club is a wonderful, quiet, safe, and fun community to spend a vacation in!

  Overall our stay was great. House was great (and clean which was very important to us and our kids) and the community was great for bike riding. Enjoyed the convenience of the store and shops being so close too!

  As Time Goes By was beautifully equipped and furnished. The owners have not skimped on anything in this home from the dishes to the furniture!! We will definitely rent this home again. The pool and yard are private but spacious and everyone can find privacy on a secluded deck if they so desire. This was one of the most beautiful homes we have ever rented and yet dog friendly!!!! Outer Banks Blue also does a tremendous job of managing this property and it shows!

  Loved the house and the neighborhood. Went with another family and two babysitters...the perfect setup. Clean, beautiful, great location. Loved having the hot tub and pool and trolley service to the beach. Loved all the extras..so nice.

  As Time Goes By

  We had a wonderful vacation staying at As Time Goes By. The house worked wonderful for the entire family. We had three families traveling together. Everyone had their own bathrooms, and we never felt crowded. The kitchen and living area were on the top floor which provided breathtaking views during our meals. With the elevator, it made it easy to bring groceries in. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed all of the decks and views. You could see the sunset and sunrise and also watch family members as they were golfing on the course. It was a lot of fun for my 4 year old daughter to see her Dad tee off.
  
  The pool was delightful. Since we were there in the off season, the heated pool was welcome. We could swim any time of day or relax in the hot tub. The outdoor shower made it easy to clean off. Also, the gameroom was right off of the pool, so we could run right inside for a game of pool and check on the hockey playoff score. There was also a complete refrigerator in the gameroom, so snacks and drinks were close by when needed.
  
  The house is in the Currituk Club which is a great community. We had our bikes with us and could ride to the grocery store and the community center. There is a nice gym if you happen to get a rainy day (which we had one). Also, there is a playground, basketball court, ping pong, shuffle board and bocce court. There were plenty of activites without leaving the area.
  
  Of course, there is also the beach. The trolley picks ou up right in front the house and takes you directly to the beach. There were no worries about parking or people wanting to leave at different times. There was always another trolley coming.
  
  There are shopping and restaurants nearby and the drive to the 4 wheel area is close. There was something for everyone, and As Time Goes By was a great place to stay for our vacation. I highly recommend it.

  We had never been to the outer banks. Our family vacation 2007 was very memorable - one because my family including 3 separate families were able to stay in "as time goes by" and enjoy privacy, comfort, family meals, an elevator for convenience. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and view of the home.

  Fantastic vacation

  We would definitely recommend this home. Our family which
  includes three grown children and their families rented this
  home for a week. We all loved it. There was plenty of room for
  everyone. The kids esp. loved the swimming pool and all of us
  really appreciated that it was a great way for the kids to be
  together and have such fun. It was in use 2-3 times a day.
  The home offered other forms of fun as well. We had a pool
  tournament one evening, read books, listened to music, played
  games and on and on it goes. Since the home was so spacious
  we felt there were many places to hang out together or if
  someone wanted some privacy, that was possible too!
  The kitchen was fantastic. It was well equipped with many of
  the comforts of home. With so many of us, we really liked the
  two dishwashers.
