      Amazing time!

Left on 09/17/2010 for a stay in August 2010

The house was perfectly situated at the end of Nc-12 so the beach was nice and quiet. The house had everything we needed for our families. We all had a great time and left just before the hurrican evacuation the following week.

      great viewscomfortable house

Left on 09/05/2010 for a stay in August 2010

we love the house-this year the outside door tracks and decks were covered in dead insects-very unpleasant for a small grandchild, and shower liners had mold on them. We called in and both problems were resolved. My husband lost his wedding ring. We reported it but had to wait until the cleaning day to see if it could be found. I presume it was not found. A phone call to tell me that would have been appreciated, instead of me having to call several times Since it was an item of tremendous sentimental value more of an effort could have been made to enter the house promptly (with the permission of the renters)to search.

      Great house, great spot

Left on 09/04/2010 for a stay in August 2010

Double anchor was great! There were 14 of us and we didn't get into each others way. The horses came out for us (right below our deck). The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We had a great time and the house was a big part of it.

      Wonderful family Vacation!!

Left on 07/14/2010 for a stay in June 2010

We had a wonderful time. We loved the house and loved when the horses came in the backyard. The only problem I had is when the dishwasher stop working. We called to have someone come out and no one did. Other than that we had a wonderful experience with Outer Banks Blue.

      always a great stay

Left on 08/29/2009 for a stay in August 2009

This is our third year in "Amazing Grace"-Love the layout and extras like the ice maker and gas barbecue.Kitchen well equipped and the views are "amazing"--our only complaint is the mattresses are not very comfortable. We use the 4-wheel drive beach and enjoy the convenience--We have booked it again for next year so that says a lot --See you in 2010!!

      Wonderful Views

Left on 08/29/2009 for a stay in August 2009

We had 5 families with their children stay at this home. The home is nicely equipped with beautiful views due to its location as one of the last homes on route 12. It was a bit risky at times getting to the beach, as you must actually cross route 12 right where it ends to get to the beach, and there is sometimes traffic coming and going quickly in this area. However, we would still be quite likely to rent this house again. The salt-water pool was a fantastic alternative to a chlorine pool, and free use of the fitness center was also a plus.

      Beautiful home - fantastic location!

Left on 09/23/2008 for a stay in July 2008

My family and I had a fantastic time here. I thought the place looked nice enough in the pictures, but it is actually much cuter than the pictures show. We loved the layout - especially the top floor, where we hung out on the deck a lot (amazing views!) and in the dining room for meals and games. The appliances are new, the place was clean, and everything was as described. All of this was great, but the location is just perfect. It's basically the last house on the developed property, right next to the dunes. From our many decks we could see the ocean on one side, the sound on another, and right in between was just miles of dunes. In fact, the famed wild horses came right to the edge of our property one morning. And just a short walk to the beach - we were really happy.

      A preview to heaven

Left on 09/23/2008 for a stay in September 2008

The house is always well equiped, from the kitchen to the living areas. The views from the decks are very relaxing. You can often see dolphin, horses, deer, and other wild animals. The ocean view is breath taking, from the sun rise to sun set.

The pool and hot tub are very well kept.

Cooking utincels complete and updated on a regular basis.

The furniture is very relaxing and comfortable from the sofas to the beds.

The owners are very particular with this house. They care so much about the house and that their guests really enjoy their stay. All of the furnishings are complete and make you feel very much at home. Plenty of room so you can have your space or function as a group. We use this week to reunite family members. Each floor has something different to offer in the way of entertainment, pool table, big screen TV, Hot tub, internet access, large eating area, large cooking area, pool, and plenty of room to relax.

Truly an outstanding property. This was our first trip to the Outer Banks and this location offred plenty of space for the large family with a kitchen fit for the Iron Chef. Lounge by the pool, relax in the hot tub, shoot basketball, play pool this location has it all. From sunrise to sunset you will not be disappointed. You may get lucky and see the wild horses from the back deck and get a visit from the grey fox. The owners really capture every detail and understand accomodations.

      The perfect house

Left on 06/16/2008 for a stay in June 2008

We have stayed in several houses on the Outer Banks in the last 10 years until we found Amazing Grace. We have stayed here our last three vacations. This house has everything, the perfect view, great swimming pool area and a well stock kitchen. Got to see several wild horses, deer and fox. Took long walks on the beach coming back with many shells and sand dollars. The sunrises and sunsets were just spectacular.

The week was perfect every day, sunny and warm. We had two days when the smoke rolled in from the fire in land but that didn't stop the great day. At night we had great meals and relaxing with friends. We are already planning our vacation for next year at Amazing Grace.
