Columbus, OhioA fun and relaxing time for all of the family with a fantastic v
Left on 06/25/2012 for a stay in June 2012
The home was beautiful and, of course, the views were awesome! The layout and floor plans were excellent. The bedrooms being on different floors and spaced throughout the house made it great for those who preferred to sleep late. The elevator was great for getting our luggage to and from the upper floors, but aside from that, we did not need to use it. The location of the house was excellent. We had a short walk to the beach and the bikes in the garage were wonderful for getting around the community. We only needed to use our cars for longer trips so that was a great gas saver. The children loved the screened in patio and felt special when they were given permission to make it their private eating area. After the second day we noticed that the pool was not very clean and the water was cloudy. Upon checking we found that the filter was not working and we reported it for maintenance. We were assured that someone had cleaned the pool before we got there but as far as we know no one ever came to check on the filter issue. We looked around the next day and found that the pump was not turned on at the power source so we reset it and everything worked fine after that. The bigger showers were luxurious but some of them needed shower curtains or some other source to keep water from splashing outside the shower. We needed to put towels on the floor to catch the water and avoid slipping accidents. The outdoor shower was great for keeping the sand from the beach out of the pool and the house. Overall, everyone loved the house and it is tops on our rental list.

We had a wonderful time at this home. We travel with a son in a power wheelchair. The home accommodated our needs nicely. There were a few small things that could be improved upon for greater w/c accessibility - but overall a wonderful vacation home.

While we did enjoy the house and the amenities, we were disappointed with the condition the house was in when we arrived. The downstairs bunk bedroom had a ceiling that was covered with bugs and the bedding had a layer of bugs as well. There were numerous light bulbs burnt out throughout the house. On the plus side, the rental company responded quickly to our concerns which was a pleasant surprise. The view from the house was great and the location within the Currituck Club grounds was fantastic.

Obx Blue is a great company to deal with. We did have a problem the first day with no air on the top floor, they had service out within an hour or so and it was fixed the next day. The house is a great place for a large family gathering. The view is great, the location is good, and the kids just loveddd the pool.

The house was well equipped for the most part. We had a issue in one of the bedrooms during a rain storm - some rain leaked from a seam in the header.
We've stayed in Currituck many times but enjoyed the view of the sound this year and it was nice and peaceful!
Kitchen could have been more equipped - no can opener, wine bottle / cork screw was broken. -

This was our second stay at All About the View. We had 4 adults and 4 teenage boys on this last trip, and the amenities, comfort, space and beauty of the house could not have been better. I personally liked the two dishwashers and all the wonderful kitchen tools. The boys loved the rec room/pool table, outdoor pool and (for some odd reason)the elevator!
We would highly recommend this house if it weren't for the fact that we want it available when we get ready to visit again!

All About The View is even better in person than on line. Our Family had a fantastic time. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. The view was the best! We didn't want to leave at the end of the week. I'm sure we will return. The Outer Banks was a great family vacation spot. We loved the beach both during the day and evening. Blue Realty is also the best to work with. Everyone was very informed about the house and area. The cleaning staff was great. "Blue" couldn't have made the vacation any more pleasant than it was. See you again!

It is a very grand house but not a good one if you have little grandchildren who wake up in the night or early as you can hear any noise from the living room in every bedroom.
There is a pool table but not much in the way of games. The bicycles were nice.
We were there in winter so it was a long cold walk to grill anything. Imagine it's nice in summer. -

my whole family stayed there for a week. we had a few issues, almost all were handled immediatly. you can not beat that view.all of the furniture was top of the line and the beds were comforable. i would go back, but there will probable be less people this year so may have to look for a smaller place. for the most part it was a joy (pool was a little cold, i would have liked a heated pool, but all else was a dream

The home is beautifully appointed and has a terrific view. It is spacious--we especially enjoyed the 4 kind sized bedrooms and every bedroom has a bathroom. The pool was a highlight for the kids in the family. The neighborhood gives you a feeling of security.

Left on 10/01/2008 for a stay in September 2007
An absolutely gorgeous home with every amenity you can think of and more. It's very big with multiple levels--so many I actually got lost in it, as did my dogs. Beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture throughout. There are even stereo speakers at the pool.
Currituck Club is my favorite place to stay. Great for bike riding without traffic, close to a rather new grocery store. Far up Route 12, but worth it.
The only downside to this house was that the pool is not connected to the house. You have to go outside a gate and back in another gate to get there. Made carrying drinks and food from the kitchen to the pool area difficult. -

Left on 10/01/2008 for a stay in May 2008
The house if very nicely furnished and has incredible views of the sound. Overall, we were satisfied. We chose the house because it allowed dogs, but most of the houses that allow pets seemed run down. This one wasn't.
We had two problems -- (1) we planned a cookout for the night we arrived and the grill was disgustingly dirty, and (2)the toilet in one of the bathrooms was not working and despite a call to the rental company, no one came to fix it. We had a full house so the lack of a bathroom was a problem. But the kids liked the pool table, the dogs were comfortable, and we did have a wonderful week in the house. -

Our stay in The Outer Banks was so much more than we thought. We enjoyed the house to the fullest on every level of comfort. Even with one stormy night, we thought the scenery was extrodinary and created an even more beautiful sunrise. This was our favorite part of our days there, the mornings. We were so close to the beach, bike rentals and tennis we wish we would have stayed for two weeks! So much to so with so little time to do it. And how nice to have your own swimming pool to come back to for a nightly cookout! Can't wait to plan our next stay and its always fun to introduce someone new and watch them discover the beauty hidden throughout the Outer Banks experience! The wild horses are a must to explore!-
Along with extra towels and water, don't forget the sunscreen and maybe a hat. A morning walk on the beach is a must for the whole family-its magical! -

We were told this was one, if not the most popular, rental properties. We were not disappointed. The furnishings were beautiful, the stay comfortable, we lacked nothing in the way of kitchen needs, individual space (3 couples), comfort and convenience to other places. We would definitely stay here again.
