We thoroughly enjoyed "Xanadu" in Corolla, NC. The home is lovely, comfortable, equipped with all amenities, and very private, while close to all area attractions. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk, and the community is family oriented. We especially enjoyed photographing the friendly turtles in the nearby lake, which is visible from Xanadu. Next time, we will bring our bicycles, as there is a wonderful bike path along Route 12. We will look forward to returning in the future!

We found this property to be in a very nice location, close to the beach. We were close to shopping but the area is not touristy (which we loved!) The property was clean and it had all the extras we needed (bedding, kitchen implements, toys, games).

My family and I stayed in Xanadu during July. The house was very clean upon arrival and well furnished. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything needed to make dinner for our family. We received a call from the owners to check in, which was nice. Although there were 4 bedrooms in the home, there was an additional 4 sofas that converted to beds! No complaints can be made! I only gave it 3 of 5 stars for location because I would have loved for it to be closer to the ocean, but then, the proce wouldn't be so great! On the other hand, it is extremely convenient to shopping! Just a note to future guests...the pond that is nearby is full of turtles! Bring something for them to eat and you can easily get a group of 25 - 30 turtles!

This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks and we loved it. The staff and service we received at Seaside Vacations made the process simple and enjoyable. Xanadu is a great rental home that is well maintained and contains all of the comforts of home. Short walk to the beach every morning and a relaxing afternoon at the pool. Close proximity to shopping, dining and activities. Can't wait to come back.
