We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Corolla and staying at Sand Bar. The house was decorated beautifully and very comfortable and clean. Thought had been given to every amenity. It was so nice to be able to come in with our bags and begin relaxing immediately. Truly appreciated the complete guest guide with instructions for using the electronic equipment and menus for local restaurants. During this time of year, we definitely enjoyed the hot tub. We felt like we were staying in a friend's home. We can't wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sand Bar, the weather was wonderful except for one day which happened to be on arrival, but that gave us a chance to unpack and enjoy everything this house has to offer. Myself and the other guests took full advantage of the swimming pool which was a nice place to relax after spending time at the beach which is minutes away. We especially enjoyed that the house has a few chairs which are available to the guests. A few of us went kayaking in the ocean, which was a great experience since many of us had never done that before. The house makes you feel comfortable, as if it was your own home. All of the rooms were well kept and clean and very nicely decorated and the fact that linens and towels were included made it so much easier and less stressful then bringing your own (also saves you room in the suitcase :) ) We had some nice dinners cooked in the spacious kitchen and enjoyed that all of us could fit at one large dinning room table. When we weren't eating at home we enjoyed a nice dinner at Jimmy's all you can eat buffet which is a drive but was nice. We also enjoyed dinner and Karaoke at Sundog's Bar and Grill, and had an amazing final night and dinner at Sunset's Raw Bar and Grill which is right on the waterfront. There are so many activities to partake in here, many of us went Jet Skiing, which is around the corner from the house. And all of the guys took advantage of the various golf courses which they loved. All in all it was a great trip, we were very sad to leave and head back to reality. Dealing with Robin & John was such a pleasure, they always responded so quickly and were very welcoming. Definitely counting down the days till next summer and looking forward, hopefully, to another great stay at the Sand Bar.

Can't say enough nice things about the Sand Bar's amenities, layout and location. So close to the beach, yet secluded in the woods with plenty of privacy. Perfect setup for 3 couples (plus kids) with beds on each of the three floors. Kitchen is fully equipped including appliances and utensils (the ice maker is a great touch). Groceries and restaurants a short drive away. We watched deer grazing just behind the back fence while enjoying the pool and jacuzzi hot tub! Great relaxation and fun. The owners were easy to deal with and provided an excellent handbook filled with information about the house and local amenities. From the time we arrived to the time we departed, we talked about returning next year.

The Sand Bar is a great house in Corolla. It is roomy, clean and is a short walk to the beach. The pool was great when you need a break from the sand. The pool area is private since the house is on the end and there are no houses behind us. From the decks we watched deer, fox, and herons and some great sunsets. The house is convenient to shops and the grocery store. We had a full house but still had room to stretch out. It was a great vacation.

This is a wonderful house. Very roomy, comfortable beds, and a nearly perfect location. It's the first house on the street, so it has privacy on one side and the back. Only beachfront would make it the perfect location. As it is, it really is only a 5 minute walk to the beach - easy to do - even with kids.
The pool and deck area are perfect and if you get tired of the pool, there's always the hot tub. When you are tired of the water, you can hang out on the screened in porch with a drink.
We would absolutely stay here again and are considering another visit in the fall. -
