Pause at the sand in this beautiful, sunny, Oceanside Outer Banks vacation home filled with amenities galore. Well suited for families with children. Comes complete with volleyball court, shuffleboard, horseshoes, basketball hoop, private pool, separate kiddie pool, Hot Tub poolside and plenty of TVs included a flat screen TV in the Great Room. Cook on the charcoal grill and enjoy a meal under the outdoor cabana. Comes with high chair, crib, baby gates and pack-n-play. Relax and enjoy the ocean views from the top deck. We had 16 ppl staying at Sandy Pause. With 6 bedrooms the house was big enough for everyone to have their own space. The top living area was wonderful and all of us were able to eat dinner together every evening. The pictures are some outdated, there is a new hot tub on the pool deck which is very nice. The veranda provides shade which is wonderful in the heat of the day. The rec room with pool table was a hit. Just a couple cons were that the carpeting is close to needing replaced, the cooking pans are badly scratched, some nails on the decks and pool area are sticking up, and the sliding door to the pool is difficult to open. All minor things that just need a little TLC. Overall this was a decently clean beach house, the pool cleaning service was wonderful, and if we go to Corolla again we would consider this house again.

We have stayed at Sandy Pause for 4 years. It is great for our families with teenagers and adults. Plenty to do. Elan is best agency we have worked with in over 30 years of family beach trips. The closeness to the grocery store is a big plus as well.
