Stay at this executive retreat that is the last house on the paved road in Corolla – it has panoramic views to the east and the north. Climb the 4 story outdoor spiral staircase to see from the sound to the ocean. Or get in shape by swimming laps in the 75 foot lap pool. There are two hot tubs to relax in. Indoor see the wonderful “Life Came from the Sea” spiral glass and steel sculpture in the three story staircase.     We are the last house on the paved road in Corolla, yet 10 minutes from shopping. The Whalehead Club park and the Corolla lighthouse are 5 minutes away. There is a boutique shopping center 5 minutes away and a grocery store 10 minutes away. The community has a fitness center for working out.

      It's time for wine and enjoy the waves, the sunset and the wild

      My family has been coming to the Outer Banks every summer for the past eight years. I have had the opportunity to stay in this luxury home two summers. This home is beautiful and is the last home on the beach at the end of hi-way 12. It is located right on the edge of the wild horse reserve. You will never feel a shortage of space. The home is very well maintained. I love cooking in the gourmet kitchen. It is fantastic and is equipped with everything you need. The home had something for everyone from young children to older adults. Inside, there is a home theater, pool table, large living areas to relax and an office where I stay connected. Outside, we would walk to the beach, enjoy the huge lighthouse shaped pool with two hot tubs, or played on the private bocce ball and volley ball courts. In the evening we would choose from one of several decks to have a glass of wine and watch the ocean waves, the sunset or watch the wild horses grazing on the dunes. If you ever leave the house, there is a lot to see and do in the Outer Banks. You could head north on the drive on beach, you can tour several lighthouses in the area or you can see where the Wright Brother's first flight took place. There are also some great golf courses in the area. We have stayed in some great spots, but I have to say this is one of the best of our list. We have absolutely love OBX and Dreams. We will be back next year.
