We haven't stayed in Corolla before - and loved it. The house was awesome - the pool was big and very inviting on those hot afternoons. Best of all you could easily walk to the beach - or go visit the turtles in the pond down the street!

We loved this home so much the first year we have stayed here each subsequent year. The kitchen has everything you need for eating at home. There is plenty of room to spread out, so that you never feel cramped. The furniture and beds are comfortable and plentiful. The up-graded wide-screen TV is nice. The wifi connection allowed for easy internet access. All though not located on the beach, the walk to and from is easy exercise and allows you to go home for lunch and be back on the beach in no time. The house is located far enough off the main road that you don't have to deal with traffic, yet you have easy and quick access to shopping or dining need. In one word---Great

The check-in was easy and the instructions were great. We were so impressed with how clean the house was, the accommodations from the nice size pool, sheets, fully supplied kitchen including a dish washer, and even beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and a laundry room. Great house and the kids had an awesome time as well. The beach was about a block and half away walk, but we signed on for that when we rented the house. The time of the year was perfect and the weather cooperated. We would rent it again if we had the same number of people returning, but I think next year my son's family will be coming along. We will need a bigger house. Thank you for making our vacation such an enjoyable time.

This is the 4th year we have gone to the outer banks and the first time that we have not had friends along. It was a relaxing family time. Our children our 20, 19, and 16 and it was so nice to enjoy them - without the distraction of cell phones and computers. The home was lovely and conveniently located to the ocean. Of the 4 homes we have rented this was the nicest pool.

We really liked this house. It was very clean and comfortable. It is somewhat far from the other houses compared to others in the neighborhood, which we liked. The pool is very large and clean. There is a lot of kitchen and eating space, and there is a lot of deck space. Decorations are cute. There were many items for water fun -- tubes, inflatable boats, etc.
What would make this house even better would be at least one king-sized bed and more TVs (only 2?). We weren't thrilled with having to put our own sheets on the beds on check in.
If we come back to the Outer Banks, we would definately consider renting this house again. It was a great value, in our opinion. -

Our family loved the pool with the Ipod stereo. We enjoyed lounging in the sun and dipping in the fresh water. Unfortunetly the beds were very uncomfortable in the lower level. My young adult children tried all the beds and slept poorly. The kitchen was super stocked even with containers to store leftovers. The couches in the living room sank to the floor. If the beds and couches get upgraded we will come back since the rest of the house was nice with cushions for the deck chairs. Otherwise we are off to another house to rent. Since good sleep is part of a relaxing vacation.

Our first visit to the outerbanks was fantastic! Except we were evacuated during Hurricane Earl. Upon arriving to our house, we found it was alot nicer than on the internet. Very nice landscaping, huge immaculate pool with plenty of rafts and toys for kids. The house was roomy, kitchen was extremely well stocked, except no teapot. The queen bed downstairs was uncomfortable but the one up was fine. Very clean except for the airvents and fans needed a desparate cleaning! Overall great...

Positive: close to beach and Ocean Sands lake. Spacious pool for the money.
Negative: Kitchen table needs upgrading/refinishing. No outside bathroom.
