It was a rocky start at the house. After a 9 1/2 hr drive we get to the house and the wifi and tv didn't work and the lower level air didn't work. Once they worked the kids wanted to watch dvd's at night and have of the movies were missing.The house is beautiful and the location was excellent. I'm torn about recommending to someone. We paid alot of money and having those issues when you first walk into the house was a huge disappointment.

Crow's Nest is a well maintained & beautifully decorated home just a short walk to direct beach access. The owners have provided everything you need for a stress free stay -- well equiped kitchen, plentiful beach "toys", top notch furnishings, etc. We've been renting cottages on the Outer Banks for 30+ years, and this is one of our best!

The house was really nice, beautiful interior, very comfortable and exceptionally well furnished. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and varity of the local restaurants. The beach was beautiful and the sand was great. House location was very close to grocery stores and shopping. Plus we really liked the neighborhood layout of the community.
This was our first stay in Corolla and we learned the sound turned was too shallow for good fishing. -

Our entire family stayed Thanksgiving week this past year (2010). Typical of the OBX, we had incredible weather. In the 60's in the beginning of the week and it slowly cooled off in time for Thanksgiving.
The home is perfect. Plenty of room and a short walk to the beach. Was perfect. Nice large hot tub on the top deck with a view.
My family really enjoyed the home and the time of year there. -

We have been coming to OBX for sevveral years. We have searched several rental agents and have had rented several homes while we were searching for "the right one". We discovered The Crow's Nest a few years back and we love it. We finally found the perfect OBX house. Great location, affordable, well equipped and clean. Plenty of space for everyone.
