We had 5 small kids so the Kids Kastle worked for us. High chairs , baby gates and games for all ages were available. We were minutes from the Harris Teeter grocery store so the last minute needs were not far away
We liked that the kids room was on the middle level with parents room next to them. Private but together. We liked being one street back from the ocean We have vacationed in Corolla in previous years and love it's charm along with good restaurants.
We look forward to a return visit next year. -

The Kids's Kastle was a "Kastle". The rooms, furniture, screened-in porch...everything was fabulous. My family and a wonderful stay. And the owners sent us the best cheesecake...Fresh Strawberries & Blueberries. What a wonderful treat for us.
The 2 minute walk to the beach was fine. We could see the ocean from the screened-in porch. Kid's Kastle had every utensil, pots & pans, appliance you could ever need.
There isn't anything I can say the we didn't like. Everything was wonderful! -

House was nice, kitchen well stocked. Table nice and roomy, living room furniture comfy. Liked all the chairs on porches. We didn't use the enclosed porch much, but kinda baffled it looked like dog hair on the floor of that porch. Thought it was a pet free home.
Beds were very firm, but we know that is a personal preference.
Liked all the beach chairs, but very let down that the umbrella and bikes were no longer there. We were unlucky enough to book the home early in spring and those options changed after we booked the house. We brought our own bikes just in case, since there are five of us, but were let down umbrella and bikes not there. We rented an umbrella, but unhappy to have to chase after that one item that was so important to us.
The house was very nice, appreciated the nice fridge and washer/dryer. I don't think we will stay in that section again because of the unsafe entrance and higher volume of families on the beach. -

Place is great. it should have been sprayed for spider as we killed many large ones on the bottom floor at the entrance. Also, the mattress in the master bed is really bad, it was better to sleep on the couch :). Over all great value and really nice clean house. We will be going back this fall and next year.

We selected this house because of price and proximity to the beach. We were extremely happy with our choice. The house is close enough to the beach that we could easily hear the surf while enjoying the night air from the deck. The house ammenities were exactly what we expected.

This is the second year my family has stayed in this house. It perfect for our needs. Just a short walk to the beach. Hot tub. New furniture in the living room. Well stocked kitchen. Beach chairs and toys are supplied. I love the screened in porch with the swing and lots of rocking chairs!
