My fiance and I were looking for a house near the beach in Corolla with a private pool and hot tub. This house had all that and then some! The price was more than reasonable-- we felt like we were robbing the owner blind.
There is a short walk to the beach (less than a quarter of a mile), but luckily the house is smack dab in the middle of two paths so you can pick and choose depending on how many cars are in the parking lot.
The pool and hot tub area is extremely private.
The house has ample room. While dated, it's very well loved and cozy. The owners have embraced the beach theme and remind you in every aspect of the house-- from the picnic table on the porch to the backyard grill-- that you should be outside enjoying it. We loved the neighborhood as well. Quiet and beautiful, but close enough to TimBuck II and grocery stores.
The master bedroom is large and we enjoyed the huge King bed. It had wonderful high ceilings, a fireplace and doors which led to a huge wrap around porch with amazing views of the ocean. My only disappointment was the bathroom-- I was really underwhelmed. I wish they had removed some of the space for a big bathtub. Something to really sink into after a long hard day at the beach.
The porches are great. However, they are very weathered though and I question the integrity of the steps leading down to the grill area from the second floor. I would be a little nervous if I had kids running around there and you'll want to wear shoes!
The kitchen was well stocked, but you have to treat the drawers with extreme care. They'll fall out with the slightest touch. Also, there are supplied beach essentials (located in the closet by the carport), but many of the beach chairs and boogie boards are broken. There is a ton of beach toys for kids though-- you just have to climb through the mountain of stuff to get there.
In all, we left saying this was one of the best vacations we ever had. I wholeheartedly recommend this house to you.

Very nice home inside. Very spacious and roomy. Outside, the pool and hot tub were great. The only problems we had were that there are raised nails throughout the decks, especially going to the pool. There is a section on the top deck that is screwed down, but the screws are rusted and snapping off. The heads then flip over and give you something not so pleasant to step on, as my son found out. Luckily he had a tetanus shot 3 weeks before we left. There is a minor ant problem. And lastly, the Wi Fi was terrible. It kept kicking us off about every 5 minutes. I put all of this on the paper at checkout, so hopefully these items have been fixed. If so, this home would be great and I would definitely rent it again. It is a lot closer to the beach than you think.
We are so sorry that your vacation was not as pleasant as it should have been due to the air conditioning. It is unfortunate that this occurred during your stay. Resort Realty does depend on many outside vendors to make needed repairs, and it is unfortunate that we do not always know when they will arrive to a home to make the repairs. We do care very much about customer satisfaction. Thank you, and we hope you will give Resort Realty another opportunity.
Great vacation spot

House was great for what we wanted. Close walk to the beach, pool and hot tub were well maintained.
The house needed some minor up keep such as the kitchen drawers were in bad shape, falling out almost when you pulled them. Although there was everything you needed in the kitchen. The outside decks were very weathered and our child got splinters from them a lot. We enjoyed the decks, they just need some up keep. The bedrooms were nice but the mattresses were very hard. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and plan to go back! Read more

We were thrilled to be able to get into our property early. The house appeared to be very clean. We had problems with the kitchen cabinets and drawers and it was not resolved even when we had checked out. The house is comfortable-has a beautiful master bedroom but could use some re-do's on other parts of the house. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and the beach is beautiful.

The only thing that would have made this perfect is if the house would have been oceanfront. Short short walk to public access and if you want to drive, there was a parking area half way. 2 fridges which came in quite handy for all the drinks. So close to Tim Buck II, you may choose to walk. Great stay!

We had a wonderful time in this house! It was very affordable and had all the accommodations we needed. Having the pool and the hot tub was a definite plus! And there was room in the yard to set up a volleyball net.
Resort Realty was also great! We drove in from Ohio and ended up arriving earlier than anticipated. RR was very helpful and allowed us to check in early as soon as the house was ready.
I would recommend this house for a budget-conscious group that doesn't need a fancy-looking house to have a great time.

The house, amenities and location was ideal for 4 adults. Everything was perfect except for the pool. Some sort of arrangement should be made for either the tenant or a pool service to be able to vacuum the pool midweek. The bottom of the pool was filled with what appeared to be larvae and I was unable to vacuum the pool myself (I have had a built in pool for over 30 years). The necessary tools to vacuum were not in the filter housing (but an extremely LARGE snakeskin was).

Beachin it provided our family with a beautiful stay. The house had everything we needed. small beach/ pool coolers, the best kitchen appliances for cooking, and small accessories that were just cute and for fun.
The master suite was under rated on the website. Is huge and spacious. The wrap around decks were the best part of our outside experience.... until you take the couple steps to the pool area. Its private, chairs provided, and the hot tub is great!
The beach access literally takes maybe 4 minutes to get walk to. We took trips twice a day at least. If the path to the left of the house gets flooded, there's a path you can cut thru in the parking lot (helpful hint to make the trip to the beach even faster!)
Overall it was truly a relaxing week... we had a great atmosphere for family time and rejuvenation!

This house had everything we wished for. We were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was. It had every gadget available. The pool and hot tub were cleaned twice a week while we were there. The master bedroom was the biggest asset to this house. The decks around the house were great and so were the views to the water. We liked the fact that we had a yard to play ladder golf in. Check in was easy and check out was even easier. All we had to do was leave the keys by the phone and call a number in order to check out. We would definitely stay here again. The price is right and it's the perfect size for our family- including grandparents.
