My review would have been excellent if the house was closer to the beach. Having small grand children, the long walk gave them something to grump about. The house itself was nice. The pool bacame very useful when my granddaughter gained some confidence in her ability to swim and progressed amazingly during the week.

This house was just right for our two families. Something for everyone including the 20 somethings, teenagers and 3 yr old. We spent hours splashing in the pool. Be sure to take a short walk to the pond to feed the turtles if you stay here.

House/floors were dirty. Basic upkeep/maintenance was poor. Pool furniture was old and dilapidated, sun umbrella was too heavy and caused table to tip. Overall we were disappointed with the house.

We got the right one baby, Uh huh! This was our first time to the OBX and renting a home. This place has it all! The pool, jacuzzi, widescreen TV, gas grill, outdoor shower and so much more. It was perfect as the kids enjoyed the 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and my wife and I had the master bedroom on the 3rd floor. The owner did a great job remodeling the home in 2008. Only 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and in the corner of a little culte sac, the privacy was a bonus. Other bonus! Bonus #2 - When we arrived on the refrigerator was a coupon for a free dozen of bagels. We will definitely be back to the OBX and hope to rent this home again.

House itself was great. Rental company was very accomodating. Our only complaint was description made it sound like it was a little closer to the beach than it was.

Overall the home was a good experience. Some of the positives. The house was nicely decorated and clean. It was very kid friendly. For the negatives. The hot tub was very outdated and did not operated very well. Second I was unable to use the gas grill due it being on the deck, and the rules. I called the office and they said they were sending someone out to move it, but nobody showed up.

The house was very nice, updated, great pool and hot tub. There were fox that came out at dusk each night and you could watch them in the scrub near the house from the hot tub, that was great.
When we checked in this house was VERY UNCLEAN! There was dog food all over the kitchen floor, as well as human toenails. The kitchen and baths were very dirty. We had to buy cleaning supplies and clean the home before we could actually unpack. This was very displeasing.
