The best equiped kitchen in house that we have stayed in. All you need are grills for pancakes.I forgot mine :( Love the layout of the house. Great for a couple of families.
Way better than expected!!

So, the pictures do not do this justice. We arrived after hours and had to go across the street into the Timbuk II plaza to get our package - easy enough to find. Neighborhood is great - small and cozy, very close to beach. Our walk from the house was maybe 4 minutes to the boardwalk that takes you over the dunes onto the beach. The pool was the other way, with a 4 minute walk as well.
The house had a great layout - keyless entry - 2 level deck, sand pit behind/under the house for the kids, beach chairs and 2 body boards were provided. Easily fit 4-5 cars in the driveway and covered areas. There were plenty of dishes, cups, glasses, utensils, etc for the week. Good assortment of cookware as well. Bunk bed room had no tv in it. Some of the rooms had no dvd/bluray attached to those tvs.
The hot tub and hammock are on the 2nd deck with open slat decking above (3rd floor deck floor) allowing water to fall onto the hot tub / hammock user during rain or a spill. not cool - those need to be covered for use during a rainstorm or drizzle, etc.
Watch out for the base of the washing machine on the 2nd floor - it sits in a metal tray with exposed sharp edges - talk about stubbing toes!! We were one sheet set short but Resort Realty sent someone out the next day with linens for the bed.
There is a food lion and several shopping plazas within 5 minutes drive away. there is no access to a fitness facility - just a community pool and tennis.
This was our first time to OBX and we loved it - just had a great time. We rented beach umbrellas from the spot on the beach for $50/week - they set up the umbrellas into the sand by 9am and take them down by 5pm. Our section of the beach was not busy at all - the Crown Point neighborhood. Other parts of the beach neighborhoods were very busy and heavily populated.

We were greeted on check-in(Sunday)without a/c called Monday morning and it was fixed by the end of the day but went out again on Friday fixed again. They need to do something about the top level unit! Master Bedroom bed was as hard as a brick and some beds were to soft. One of the best stocked Kitchens seen on the Outer Banks. Living area was beautiful with what appeared to be fairly new furinture.

On Deck is well stocked and clean. Beach is easily reached.
Plenty of beach chairs, no umbrellas nor boogie boards.
Bring a griddle if serving pancakes or grilled sandwiches.
Enjoyed our stay.

I received excellent service from Resort Realty. Check in and out was a breeze. This house is beautiful and in a great location. We really enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and shopping. The house is in great shape and the kitchen has everything you could ever want. We will rent this house again and recomend it to our friends!

We had a good time but our stay was interupted by Hurricane Irene. We rented for two weeks so our stay was cut short. Thankfully by husband and I went back but unfortunately my sister and her family and our sons could not come back. We did purchase the insurance so let's see what we get back. I thought our house was lovely.
We were not too impressed by the hectic way we were evacuated and the realty company's lack of compassion on the whole thing.
Nice vacation spot

Nice vacation home. Short walk to beach and community pool, so that was convenient with small children. Very close to Food Lion and shopping/dining, so we could ride our bikes there. Lots of beach chairs/boogie boards available for use at the house, so you don't need to take any. The only complaints we had were the stove not working, but it was replaced with a new one during our stay, and that the bedding was dirty. The comforters or spreads need to be laundered, and the packaged sheets and towels provided had hairs from other guests or the cleaning crew on them when we arrived. Just on a safety note, be careful around the hot tub...some of the wood slats that enclose it are loose and one of them fell out. Upon further inspection, we noted that others are loose and it appears another slat had fallen out prior to our stay because it was inserted backwards. If a child or anyone leans against them, they could fall one story to the ground below. We let the property managers know about this on our checkout paperwork, so hopefully it will be addressed and corrected.
Overall this was an enjoyable experience

The only problems we had were with internet, telephone, and television. The telephone did not work at all. When I reported the issue the real estate company referred me to a telephone company that requested account information. I had none. When the internet did not work the real estate company sent a general repairman who unplugged everything and then said "I don't know how to fix this and he put everything back under the bunkbed where it was originally located, and left. A call center person called me and wanted me to walk through the process of diagnosing and fixing the issue, which included crawling under the bunkbed to get to it. I told them they needed to send a technician... The person told me that he was at a call center in Kentucky and could do nothing for me. It was pretty frustrating...
Great location. Great home. Will return

The house was great, and had everything we could have wanted except a pool. Kitchen was wonderful, and had EVERYTHING we could possibly need, and some! The location was perfect, and we appreciated the use of the beach chairs.
Everything was very clean, and we would definitely recommend the house, and your real estate services. Your team was great to work with.
