We had rented a home in avon but the storm prevented us from going there - Route 12 wiped out in several areas. Resourt Realty rescued us ahen we were able to rent the Shenadoah. It was above expectations. We have rented in Whale Head and Corolla in the past. All of us enjoyed the Shenadoah - we had plenty of room, the kitchen was more than adequate and the walk to the beach was not far - even the little ones had no trouble with the walk. We would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you Resort Realty

The beach house was beautiful and nicely decorated. The pool was also very nice. I was a little disappointed that we had to walk further to get to the beach than it appeared on the computer, but other than that it was very nice.

We have stayed in this house for several years. The furniture is being to show age wear and tear. The electric range is hard to cook on because it is difficult to find level burners. When we first rented there was a hot tub; two years ago it disappeared, probably a maintenance issue. The porch chairs were uniformly uncomfortable.

After checking in we found mold on the shower curtain. Grass was uncut and grill was dirty. Rr responded right away to our call but as the unit was inspected before we took possession these things should have been addressed.

Overall I was very pleased with the unit. Only one complaint, I was not able to get Espn on any of the Tv's. I am not sure if Espn is part of the cable package for the unit or I was not able to find it. I was looking forward to watching the men's us Open Golf.

This house had issues in every room. Kitchen-dirty cookware,utensils,etc. and ice was yellow. Bedrooms-bedspreads dirty;ceiling fans filthy/dusty; big spiders and bugs. Living area-alot of dust hanging out of vents;dangerous glass tables(3)-husband fell though one table and it shattered and we spent the night in ER due to glass in leg;air conditioning broke 2nd day. TV/VCR/ceiling fan not working in kids bedroom and never fixed. Bathrooms-dust in all vents;cobwebs in all bathrooms above mirrors and on ceilings;filthy rugs;mildew on shower handle & shower curtain; dead bugs on bathroom counters. On morning of 2nd day, went to realty office--there was no other customers in there but us but they acted as if we were bothering them. Unresponsive to fact that husband fell through glass table and was hurt; simply said they would send someone to remove glass (because I insisted) and table so that table could be fixed. Clerk noted other issues and said they would send someone. Some issues were fixed on the day we were leaving. Other issues were not fixed at all. We found Resort Realty and this house very unacceptable for what we paid.
