We choose this house due to several things: close to beach but far enough away to keep cost down, pool and hot tub at house, nice open/modern interior, bunk beds for kids. The house itself is in a pretty private location that doesn' feel like you are right on top of your neighbors. We saw deer in the yard on two days. Public beach access is 2-3 blocks on the same road as the house (in Corolla there is public access every several blocks but this house is a straight shot). Setup of house is nice. We have an infant and our friends have 2 small children. They stayed on second floor in Master, their kids stayed in the bunk bed room on the same floor. We stayed on top floor in master with infant in pack n' play. Worked out well as each family had its own level. House was very clean as was pool/hot tub. Water in pool was a bit cool as it was early in year. The house had many amenities that were note mentioned in description like: baby height chair, beach chairs, tent, cart, toys, basketball and hoop, plus every kitchen item you could want. House was a 10 min walk to shopping center which was nice as we took a short walk every morning to get donuts and free internet access.

Great location, we really liked the spread-out feel of Whalehead and the nice ocean views. Kids were at Tim Buck II everyday, lifeguarded beach (we were traveling with some young kids also). Nice size pool and decks. Can't go wrong with this house.
Great beach vacation, excellent location.

This house is in an excellent location, close to a lifeguarded beach. It is a short walk to the beach. The house has a cart that we were able to wheel to the beach every day with our chairs and umbrellas. The beach is great. The house was great, very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a grocery store very close. There is also a very nice shopping area with several gift shops, several restaruants, fudge store, ice cream shop within a few miles. Very good location. We had a great week.
as expected, and very nice.

My family stayed in this house two years in a row now. It was just like it was the year before. Very nice. The only dislike is that the pool wasnt maintained properly. The water was extremely cloudy.
Overall very nice rental.
it was a nice vaca

We thought the house was great, but it the items within the home could use some updating. Kitchen appliances such as can opener and pots were very old. The kitchen needed an extensive cleaning. We were happy with out stay but just wanted to be honest about our experience since we have been staying in OBX for ten years and this is the first home we have ever had anything negative to say about. I would want to know as the homeowner.

The house was a great location. The pool and decks were nice. But the kitchen was FULL OF ANTS when we arrived! Plus the kitchen floor was so filthy I had to clean it before I could let my 15 month old run arounds. Someone's bobby pins were still on the counter with their hair--yuck! The ants were so bad that when I left my child's juic box out for 3 minutes to get some fruit from the fridge and clean it an ant climbed in her straw. Have the owners not heard of an exterminator? The ammenities just weren't that great. The TV was pretty small for the size of the living room. The kitchen was in general just dirty and what knives, etc. they had didn't work well or were not clean. In the outside shower, there was a wasps nest so we battled wasps next week. The bed in the masterbedroom was pretty darn uncomfortable. I awoke each morning in pain. We rented from Resort Realty in 2007 which if why we rented with you again this year. But next year I am up in the air on what to do. I find the service from the company to be good but in the future please make sure a home is cleaned better before the new guests arrive and definitely keep up with the bugs!
Very nice place to stay.

This was a very nice house for our group. There were 10 of us in our group (3 adults, 3 teens and 4 children). The house felt very spacious to our group. One of the queen bedrooms downstairs had a great bathroom suite. It felt like a master bedroom. The king bedroom upstairs was even better. The upstairs did get a little warm at times. The ceiling fans upstairs were a necessity. Having a downstairs living area and an additional upstairs loft was great. The pool was small but great for our group. The nicest thing was that we could walk right off the 2nd floor deck into the pool. That meant we never had sand in our pool as there is no sand between the house and the pool. The downstairs shower and area under the house was also nicer than most houses.
This was our first time to stay in Corolla. We were about 2 blocks from the ocean, although you can see some ocean from the upper decks. When we arrived several of the streets were flooded. Sailfish street was flooded, so we had to walk through a flooded street in order to get to the ocean. As a result, most days I ended up dropping off our group at the stairs, parking and then walking to the beach. This worked okay. I don't know if the street being flooded was an anomoly or a regular occurrence.
Overall staying in Corolla was fine. The Food Lion and several other stores are only about 5 blocks away. We did have to see a doctor one evening which required a drive all the way to the Outer Banks Hospital. There are no pharmacies closer than Southern Shores. There are however several restaurants and shops in Corolla.
This house is a Sunday rental, which helped immensely with traffic. We had some traffic coming in but not nearly as much as prevous years. We had no problems leaving at all. I liked using Resort Realty's express check out.
Overall this was a very nice place to stay. If things work out we would like to stay there next year. I definitely recommend this house.
Relaxing enjoyable stay in a perfect house for 2 familes.

We had a great time during our stay at Shore Enough. Our kids loved the pool area and we were a only a short walk to the beach. It is a very convenient location with short drives to shopping and great restaurants. The ocean view from the deck was as good as it gets from the 3rd row.

Beautiful house!! Everything looked clean and new. Loved the location. Its a straight, short walk to the beach. What I liked was that the house isn't super close to other houses. Definetly would stay there again!
