Just like the name of the house it was a very pleasant time. We were thirteen people from 70 years to 5 years old. The house was very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked. Only a 12 min walk to the beach. It was great thank you.

We really enjoyed our vacation down in Corolla this summer. The owner of Sound Serenity with out a doubt has put a lot of thought into their beach home. The kitchen was very well stocked, the house was up to date and beautifully decorated. Resort Reality was wonderful to work with, every time we contacted them with a question or concern they were extremely helpful and quick to respond. The only recommendation I would have for the owners of Sound Serenity is to either update the aC unit for the upper floor or install blinds in the family room. That floor was very hot a few days, though I understand their hestitation to install blinds on the upper floor, the views and light coming into that room was amazing.

We had a wonderful,relaxing vacation in this home. Very clean organized and well maintained home although I would suggest a better cooling system on the upper level as it was uncomfortably warm registering 82 when we set temp at 72. With a group of 11 and cooking dinner every night it was uncomfortable. Monterey Shores pool and community is awesome. Ease of check in from a move from a previous rental house was a little problematic as the other rental let me stay until Noon at no charge and I could not check in till 1PM even with a $100 fee. A phone call would have been nice letting me know if home was ready earlier.
I would suggest that this home should have at least 6 beach chairs and some umbrellas available for your guests. -

The house was clean and comfortable. The stove needs to be replaced, they need to replace the jacuzzi or remove it from the list of available amenities. Other than that its really a nice house and plenty of shade. The decks could use work but they are still nice.

This place is well equipped for the gourmet cook. The owner obviously appreciates good wine, having both white and red wine glasses!
The house is surrounded by trees and is very private, but the huge windows on the top floor allow the sun to fill the living areas with brightness. But the best part is the location, midway between the sound the and sea, and within walking distance of the beautiful clubhouse and huge swimming pool. Also, the Food Lion is only a mile a way, and the Currituck Park only 2 miles away. All in all, we had a good time at Sound Serenity. -

I believe the first day is the most important....The home was not cleaned very well at all and the trash was not taken out prior to. There was approx. a pick up truck full of trash left by the prior tenants. This was resolved, but it should have not been this way in the first place. Overall we liked the house and had a good week.

Our family found this home to be ideal for our needs. There was plenty of room with all of the necessities of home and then some. The location was perfect for shopping, golfing, and relaxing. We received great customer service without any complications. Our family had a wonderful time here.

Lovely house, we enjoy every minute of our vacation on the outerbanks. The only problem with this house was a few leaky windows in the living room. Perfect for the eleven of us to enjoy and totally relax.
