Great location, ocean view and access to beach, grocery store nearby, quiet neighborhood. Beach was beautiful. Will definitely try to come back. Tennis court was available.

When we arrived, the house was not clean, at all. We did call housekeeping and they came over and cleaned while we went to the grocery store (which is 2 minutes down the road). The house was awesome with two master bedrooms, a room with bunk beds and an additional room with two beds. The living room was very comfortable. Our favorite part of this house is the captain's nook. We ate all our meals there, played games, and got a good view of the neighborhood. The deck is very nice as well with comtable chairs! The house is in a good location, very short walk to the beach. Shops are nearby. There's a lot to do in Corolla. We do recommend making a trip out to Manteo to check out their adorable "down town" waterfront area.

Whispering Sands is in an excellent location and is also great value. My family and I have stayed in this house for three out of the last 4 trips to the Outer Banks. The life guard is another plus to this house. We feel very safe and know that not only are we looking out for our children, but the life guard is as well. The house has everything that one needs for a memorable vacation.
