Great vacation in a great house with family and pets!

The house was beautiful with nice furnishings and cooking items; perfect for dogs and babies and toddler. Enjoyed the games in the garage as well as the bikes. We brought our beach chairs but the house had plenty of nice chairs. Beds were very comfy. They thought of everything for the doggies--leashes to put them on to stay in back yard, water bowls, and windows you could open in garage to keep dogs out of house while you were away.
The only drawback was that the a/C went out one very hot evening, and we all had to sleep downstairs. We were told a/C should be kept at a certain temperature to avoid it freezing, but we were not aware of that before it happened. A note to that effect on the fridge would have been helpful, as well reminders on the fridge of garbage pickup, things to do before you turn in your keys, etc. We were surprised emergency repair people were not available until the next day (we called around 6:30 p.m.).
The beach is accessible by shuttle or car, but once you arrive at beach access, you have a good walk, especially if you are carrying lots of beach items. Golf cart shuttles are available, but you must remember to take tip money. The small pool within walking distance was very nice, and the large pool reachable by shuttle or car was great, too.
Access through the subdivision to Harris Teeter was nice, too. Biggest complaint about Corolla had nothing to do with this beautiful home. Traffic getting in and leaving was unbelievable! It took hours in traffic jam. The light to turn to Corolla only lets a few cars in and out. Ridiculous! A traffic cop is really needed on check in and check out day. Traffic left a bad taste after a wonderful week.

Great OBX Vacation

Great house! Clean, well-kept, and well-equipped. My husband needed a house with not too many steps and this fit the bill just fine. It was also very convenient for our older bulldog who also has trouble with steps. Loved the layout of the house. So convenient having the washer and dryer right in the kitchen. Basically we utilized just the upper level and the master bedroom, which was perfect for us.
We couldn't have asked for better weather for the month of april. Perfect temperatures; high 70's to low 80's and sunny. We were able to do what we normally do when we come to the OBX, take our bulldogs "shopping for cookies" and just relax and enjoy ourselves.
Unfortunately, as with most vacations, we allowed time to just slip away and did not get to do as much as we wanted. The home came equipped with an outdoor grill, which we used one night and the home also provided bicycles and a ping pong table, which we did not get to use. Just the fact that these were there for our use was great. The neighborhood that the home is in was very quiet and peaceful, as well.
We absolutely loved our stay at "Forever" and would definitely stay again.
A great two weeks.

My family, including the dog, so much enjoyed our stay in Corolla. The house was just our size, clean and well appointed for our needs. The Currituck Club was amazing. The kids loved the pool and we could walk or ride most days from the property to go swimming. All in all, a great two weeks.

This was our first time at the Outer Banks. We were happy with everything about our vacation, (once we arrived).
The rental property worked for us in every way. It was gorgeous and clean; as various situations arose, we found our questions already had an easy answer, (outdoor shower, beach chairs, electric can opener, etc.)
Yes, our experience was so good, we intend to return.
Thank you for all your help with the details.

Wonderful home for family

This house was really nice, it was well decorated and the community
in which it was located had nice amenities. The house was well kept
and had comfortable beds and furniture. It would have been nice to
have more pots and pans (there was no covered skillet for example)
however overall it was really great. We would definitely stay at Forever

The house was perfect for us - 3 adults and 3 children. We loved it all - the outdoor shower, the grill, the hottub and the big screen TV. The bus to the beach was a huge help and the house was located near everything. We can't wait to visit again.
It was Wonderful

We spent a wonderful week at the Forever House and had a wonderful time. This is
the first time that we vacationed in the Outer Banks -- and it was perfect. The
house was close, just a very short bike ride or car ridedown the road, and the public parking it made it easy to bring the kids and all our gear. Everything was in order when we arrived, and we were pleased to
learn that the pictures online matched the home. It's actually nicer than the pictures!
We'd definitely recommend this house - especially if you're bringing kids and want to spend a lot of your vacation at the beach. We cooked, the grill outside worked perfectly. With plenty of room for the kids to play outside or inside the garage game room, we actually found some time to relax on our vacation! We'll be back next year.
My advice is to get there early on check in day. Traffic is bad (the only day it was bad)the later it gets. Come early and... Enjoy!

I fell absolutely in love with this place! It was myself and 1 other person. We had our own bedrooms and baths. I love the deck to sit on in the evening while sipping a glass of wine. In the mornings, we sat out back under the trees. Each of us in a rocking chair with our two dogs beside us, while the breeze blew off of the sound. It was heavenly!!! In the evenings we cooked on the grill and soaked in the hot tub. I listened cd's in the sterio on a rainy day and read a good book. I invited my mom down for a day and we enjoyed cooking in the fully equiped kitchen. The decor and furniture was cozy and comfortable. There was nothing I didn't like and nothing this house didn't have!!!! We had a ping pong table, beach chairs and umbrella....bikes to ride. Trash and laundry service too! We were picked up by trolley at the corner of our street to be taken directly to the beach and our items were carried to the beach! We were escorted by trolley home from the beach and dropped off at our driveway. We felt like royalty. For the price, we got the best deal in Corolla or Nags head for that matter!!!! We even met with real estate agents we were so pleased. I'm hoping to stay at this property again this September and purchase my own place here in the next 8 years. It was fabulous, seriously!
Nice Home, Great Location

Great rental home. Our first time staying in the Currituck Club and the location was great for use of club amenities. Walk and bike to everything. Home was clean and nicely updated with comfortable bedrooms and baths. Deck was OK but nothing special and could use more furniture. House had a few bikes and it was very convenient to rent additional ones for the week just around the corner. Short drive to the beach or could take the trolley in season. A wonderful time overall.
