This six bedroom refuge with unobstructed views facing the ocean is sure to please with a spacious floor plan for stretching-out and relaxing with friends and family. Jouhara is impeccably decorated throughout. The gourmet kitchen, which opens to the dining and living areas, is fully equipped with all of the comforts of home. Meal times at Jouhara are a true joy and an opportunity to bring the entire group together.

The home is in a tranquil setting, bordered by wide open space to... the rear facing the ocean . Multiple decks afford the opportunity to enjoy the unobstructed views of the ocean . Sip your morning coffee while witnessing one of the fabulous sunrises over the Atlantic , bask in the afternoon sun and enjoy the fresh ocean breezes or relax with friends in the evening and gaze at the star filled night sky .

Jouhara also provides a unique observation platform that is accessed via a circular staircase to help you get a panoramic view of the surrounding area and the ocean views.

Jouhara is in an ideal location to make the most of your time on the Outer Banks. Fun activities and area attractions are just around the corner. Some of our favorite activities are visiting the Corolla wild horses and the historic Currituck lighthouse.

Lower Level: Bedroom with pyramid bunk and trundle bed ; sitting room with futon, tv, and refrigerator; full bath.

Mid Level: Three queen masters, one with attached sitting area; bedroom with one twin bed .

Top Level: Queen master; main living room; kitchen.

Ocean Sands Amenities: Jouhara is located in section N of Ocean Sands. - There are tennis courts in Sections D, F, and H only - There is NO public pool in the Ocean Sands subdivision.Read more

  This was a nice house that fits 12 people comfortably. All the amentities were nice, especially having 2 refridgerators in the house. The only thing I think is worth noting is that the distance to the beach is about 1000 feet, not the 500 feet it says in the ad. This was a little misleading, but otherwise it was a great time.

  Incredible family get together place!!!:-)

  The house was unbelievable. I knew it was going to be big, but it was much bigger than expected. It had everything we needed on vacation in the kitchen. The living room & dining room are were perfect to enjoy everyones company throughout the week. The eagle's nest blew my mind away with the view that you saw. Everyone from family to friends was stunned with the beauty and options of comfort this house provided. The hot tub was used by all. The only bad things about the vacation was the walk to the beach which wasn't bad if you had a beach cart and the numerous amount of ticks some of my group got on them from the trek from house to the trail the beach. My mom's
  husband had a grand total of 4 ticks and he only went to the beach 3 times. It was my first time renting in corolla, I usually rent in Kitty hawk. I think I am going to spend more in corolla from now on!!!:-)

  Corolla Experience

  After being displaced from our original rental in avon by Harricane Irene. We looked at a lot of houses and Jouhara seemed to fit all our needs. It was pet friendly and had most of the things we wanted. The screened in porch was a plus.
  When we checked in the house was very clean and well taken care. It had nice furnishings and a well stocked kitchen.
  
  The only down side was it was advertised as being 500 feet to the ocean it was probably twice that. I would highly recommend this house.

  Jouhara was one of the cleanest homes we have rented in Corolla, and we have been vacationing there for the last fifteen years.It was a little farther from the ocean than we would like, but the sandy path to the beach was nicer than walking down the street. The house was well equipped, and suited our family well. Our stay could have been a little easier if we had access to beach chairs or at least a beach buggy to wheel our beach things back and forth. We had a nice vacation, and will recommend Jouhara and Seaside vacations to others. Thanks

  Bright, spacious feel inside the house

  Attractive design, spacious, comfortable, well stocked with kitchen necessities (although how could you forget a potato peeler?). "Observatory" a real draw. Only drawback was the cleanliness - specifics of which I've already advised SesSide Realty. I think your presentation of the house is misleading - it's not exotic as the name suggests but rather all-American dream house at the beach.

  A Lovely Two Weeks

  We have been coming to the Outer Banks for the last 5 years in search of a house that we would like to make 'a family tradition'. We found that with Jouhara. I would have liked it a 'little' bit closer to the beach, but all the other pluses put that at the end of our wish list. It was clean as a whistle--that was huge on our list--and it was tastefully decorated.
  Know that if you rent this house you should have your own beach chairs--there is only one supplied-- and bring your own beach cart to transport belongings down to the beach. That might be something for the owners to consider for the next beach season. All in all, it was a delightful stay.

  Disappointed with seaside vacations' service.

  The service I recieved was horrible. The house
  was not ready by the promised 6 pm deadline. The
  manager, Melissa from the Corrolla office stated
  that the previous renters made a mess and they
  were still cleaning the house up. We actually saw
  the previous renters that morning and the house
  was not in "bad shape" it only needed to be
  cleaned. In fact we also talked with the cleaners
  while they were finishing up with the house. The
  cleaners stated that they had not been notified
  until 4 pm that day. The frantic cleaners were
  appologetic. Once the cleaners left the house
  around 6:15 pm, the master shower was not clean
  and the bedding was not changed on the master bed.
  When I went to go to bed, I found hairs and sand
  in the sheets. So, not only was the house
  provided late, Seaside vacations failed to provide
  a properly cleanedand prepared house. The sheets
  and shower were addressed the following day.
  However, I feel Seaside vacations did not provide
  the services that they stated they would provide.
  I feel I did not get my money worth from seaside
  vactions, where I thought I was not only renting a
  house but a high level of service. Seaside
  vactions made no attempt to make good/compensate
  us either in a partial refund, a complimentry mid
  week cleaning, etc. for their failures to deliver
  a clean house on time. In fact, management
  accused me of "flipping off" the front end
  administrators that saturday. I would never do
  something so vulger and I still take offense to
  that accusation.
  
  The home was great once it was clean. I like the
  location. There was not a vacuum provided and it
  took two days for seaside to drop off a vacuum and
  a broom. The location of the house was great. I
  liked pretty much everything about the house and
  the beach. I was very disapointed by seaside
  vacation. Seaside vacations did a large
  disservice to this rental property and my stay.

  This was one of the nicest houses at which we've stayed in the 10+ years we've been renting at the OBX. We especially liked the ample space, comfortable main room, well-stocked kitchen, overall quality of the furnishings, hot tub, proximity to the beach, and rooftop deck. We would definitely come back to Jouhara on a future trip.
