You'll leave your heart in Corolla after a stay in Heart of Corolla! Experience the ocean to sound views that are offered with this house from the great room level and even more dramatic views from the tower room. The tower room also has a full bath and a queen sleeper sofa which could be used as a fifth bedroom.

This home backs to open space providing privacy as you swim in the private pool or soak in the hot tub . Sunrises, ocean breezes and sunsets await you in this home. No pets and no smoking please.

Currituck Club amenities include: 18-hole championship Rees Jones golf course, 18,000 square-foot golf clubhouse, pro... shop, men's and women's locker rooms, members' lounge, full-service grill and golfers bistro, driving range and putting green, lighted pedestrian, jogging and bicycling paths, free trolley transportation throughout the community, personal beach valet service, four lighted, half-court basketball goals, five full-sized pools and kiddie pools with bathhouses, family facilities & picnic areas, seven tennis courts (four lighted), lighted sand volleyball court, children's playground area, main entry guardhouse with 24/7 security during in season, fully-equipped fitness center, indoor game room, billiards, ping pong, foosball, bocce ball, shuffleboard and horseshoes.

Amenities include: Private pool, Hot tub, multiple TV's, Multiple VCR's, DVD, 2 master suites, Video Library, furnished decks, gas fireplace (winter only), Gas grill, Stereo/CD player, Screened porch, Currituck Club and Hammocks amenities (5 Community pools, Tennis, Trolley service to the beach, Fitness center and more).Linens and towels provided.

Property Layout:

Lower Level: Bedroom with twin beds , master queen bedroom, bedroom with two sets of bunks , 2 full baths, screened in porch, sun decks and shaded decks front and back.

Top Level: Master bedroom with king , living room, dining room (seats 10), full sized kitchen with separate eat-in kitchen table. Decks on front and rear.one and one half baths.

  Great location on the house! Never been to Corolla before and the area was just beautiful. We had the use of not only our own pool, but 2 others in our community. The house was perfect for 3 families and kids. Would definately stay in this house again! Great ammenities and the kitchen was great!

  A Great week

  Seaside vacations handled us perfectly for this stay. Our first time in OBX we really looked to them for recommendations. They came through. The house met all of our needs (9 of us) and the surroundings were perfect. All bedrooms were comfortable and the living areas exceeded our expectations. The pool was a must and it too was perfect. Wish it was closer to the beach as it was not walkable. The gated community was a plus and most of the rental neighbors we encountered were very nice and orderly. My only negative comments were due to overall OBX scenarios - do not travel here on a Saturday morning. Took us 1.5 hours to go the last 9 miles and we were supposedly ahead of the mass check in traffic. Arrive before 9am if you must. Lastly the OBX area restaurant costs. I know they have the tourists captured but $12 for a burger, $7 for a beer? And not much other price selection we could find within 10 miles. That was OK though as we realized we were in peak of summer tourism. All in all a great stay at a great home. We would return but not on a Saturday.

  Mbr was considerably warmer than the rest of the house. The alarm system on the back door did not work well and did not allow us to come in from the pool without setting it off. We must have set it off at least a hundred times and we eventually had to take batteries out because it went off at night for no reason. There was mold in kitchen faucet and MBR shower head

  Eight of us stayed at the "Heart of Corolla" rental unit and everyone of us enjoyed the experience. The unit was very well-equipped, clean, accessible and affordable. This is the second time we have used Seaside Vacations in the Outer Banks and have not been disappointed. we hope to stay again and we love theCorolla area.

  when I book this property , I was already impressed for what I see in the virtual tour . when we arrive in corolla , its late in the evening but what I can see of the sourroundings it so beautiful , big houses all around and I really like the idea that its a gated community and a private beach. everybody at the beach are very pleasant and the trolley service is a a+.all the drivers are all very accomadating.the staffs of seaside vacation are very nice and pleasant.the heart of corolla is so very beautiful and how I love the wrap-around covered decks for the entire house, me and my husband enjoyed every morning when we wake up ,we sit at the front deck to enjoy the view of the ocean.and the cool evening breeze. compliments to the owner of this property they put emphasize of all the amenities.

  Never a dull moment

  This home, this resort, this company delivered. There was something going on every minute, and we got to sample a lot of great things. One night the interns let the parents have a night out while they partied with the kids, we got to tour the wild horses, and went to the beach. There was a pool at the house, and two others we went to. We saw a movie under the stars in the pool. A magical vacation,a beautiful house, no complaints.

  The house was beautifully decorated and had all the extras we needed for everything from cooking to movies, books and games. The pool was a big hit especially on those hot afternoons. We also liked using the trolley for going to the beach and the game room. We were centrally located to be able to see the lighthouse, Wright Bros. memorial and even the wild horses.

  The house we stayed in was magnificent. With bedrooms on 2 levels and a loft with a pullout sofa allowed us all to stay comfortably. Hot tub and pool allowed us to make our stay even more comfortable. The neighborhood is well kept, very close to the beach with trolly services that took you to the beach if you want. Access to the fitness center is included as well as golf at a discounted rate. Would highly recommend this house and the Corolla area of the OBX.

  HOC vacation

  We enjoyed the house and the entire area. The shuttle to the beach was fantastic. There are many things to do. During our sunset and after walks on the beach you can see the ghost crabs scurrying about. I would reccomend the guided horse tour (the one with the van pictured on the flyer)(ask for Mark as your guide) our guide was very knowledgeable about finding the horses and their history. We saw dolphins in the ocean and a sea turtle nest (a restricted small area) on the beach. This is a great place to fly kites. The nature areas are easy to find. Take bug spray. We visited the Pea Island nature area after a rain shower, and were swarmed with mosquitos. If there was a breeze, we didn't have a problem. There was a club party at one of the general pools on tuesday. Unfortunately we did not know about it until Tuesday morning, the day which we had already made plans. Would have liked to have known before we arrived so we could have worked a different schedule, and attended the party. The area was clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. If you're planning to arrive on Saturday, plan on being there early or plan on heavy traffic. One local told me that over 50,000 residences change each week with 70% of them on Saturday. We would like to return here in the future.

  Wonderful Vacation Getaway!!

  My family is just back from a wonderful week spent at the
  Heart of Corolla house in Corolla, NC. The house so far
  surpassed all our expectations from the moment we pulled
  up in front to the nice surprises we found all week long, like
  the books and games in the upstairs room. It was all nicely
  furnished and beautifully maintained. The beds were
  comfortable, and the kitchen was so convenient to cook in.
  The pool and hot tub were a perfect addition to a vacation
  home and they even come half way through the week to make
  sure it is properly maintained. Everyone we dealt with at
  Currituck were very friendly and helpful. The beach was a
  little further away than I had anticipated --you can't walk to
  it but even that the Currituck club takes care of by providing
  a shuttle that picks you up!
  There is no nicer vacation, especially when you have kids to
  rent a house that is nicer than your own to just relax and
  enjoy vacation at your own pace.
