The house turned out to be better than the pictures on line. It certainly met our needs space wise, had plenty of beds, was close to a great beach and close to grocery stores. We had four generations of people and the senior adult was able to have space of her own for quiet time to get away from two year old twin boys!Though we did not use any of the community facilities it was nice to know that they were there. We did feel that the place was not as clean as we like, dirty window sills and carpet, cobwebs, and one bath that could have been cleaner. (Perhaps no one had been it for a while so that accounted for the cobwebs and window sills.)We would stay there again.

My family and I 12 total, kids, teenagers, and adults had a fabulous week vacation in OBX. We had the time of our lives. We normally vacation at Myrtle Beach, but this was actually better. It wasn't only closer to DE & pa, but it was more serene. The beach was way less crowded and the water was great. Monteray Shores had a bay with a beautiful view, we took lots of family pictures there. The house set in a culdasac all by itself, was steps from the pool, tennis and basketball courts, and clubhouse. The house was large inside and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The full size washer and dryer was very convenient. We all enjoyed evenings and mornings in the hot tub. The house was the perfect home to foster family time and a great vacation!!! Can't wait to go back!

This house was really nice. I liked the proximity to the pool and the bike trail. And yet, you have a sensse of being secluded. It was a little far from the beach for small kids.
The house was spotless. However, we did see a few roaches. I called about it but was told that it was that way in all the houses. I've never experienced roaches before this is a beach house.
