Hold a movie-thon on a rainy day in front of the 42” plasma TV in the entertainment room; soak your everyday stresses away beneath the stars in the hot tub; enjoy fun family time in one of two game rooms. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach - even quicker if you ride one of the home’s bikes. Don’t forget to bring the family pet, they are welcome too! Section B. Approximately 900 feet to beach access.

Overall we had a nice stay. It was good for the price we paid. We've stayed many times in OBX, in many different houses. This one needs some improvements on comfort. Decks are small and deck furniture is very uncomfortable. There was definitely no relaxing on the decks going on. We couldn't access the back deck with the grill, the lock was broken on the door and the door would not open from either side. The front deck faced the highway and was noisy. The master bedroom mattress was worn out. The upstairs couch in the Entertainment room was extremely uncomfortable. The TV and DVD player in the main living area did not work. The foosball garage area was not appealing, it was dark and smelled musty. Our kids did not use it. The hot tub would have been nicer if it was upstairs on a deck and it didn't work one of the days we were there. The house was very clean. The other beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. The walk to the beach is much shorter than the 10 minutes listed and that was very nice.
Very close to both Harris Teeter and Food Lion. The whirlpool tub was nice and we liked having 3 full baths with two teens and a 5 year old.
Fees from rental company to pay for the stay were annoying. $5.00 to pay by E-check and another $5 a few days later for mistyping my account number by one digit. However if we had paid by credit card the fee was even higher.
With a few improvements this is a good value vacation and a short walk to the beach with great beach access.
The owners did let us stay a few extra days (we were charged of course) after missing the first 2 1/2 days due to Hurricane Irene. We did appreciate that. -

overall the house was great. we were not pleased with the mold in the basement game room, making it unusable. two of the bikes had white grungy stuff on & we wouldn't use them. the bikes are definately not for someone who is vertically challenged

While the house was OK the whole downstairs was a disaster. Black mold on the walls made it impossible to even use the room. Also the beach chairs were in poor condition and the " bikes " both had flat tires .

The house and yard were beautiful not too big not too small. could use a little more stocking in the kitchen. close enough to beach. 2 coffee pots were great! rooms were nice. The whole place was very homey and welcoming. The owners made it feel like they were happy to have you there. The price was wonderful. Do you think they might put in a pool?
