3/30/13 ** Second condo now available on the same floor**

Quiet, clean and on the beach! Less than 2 minutes after you close the door you are on the beach!! Save time and money on your vacation or trip with this centrally located condo with too many activities to name within 10 minutes walking or driving. My condominium is a great spot to kick back and enjoy your hard earned time away. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cookware, flatware, coffee maker and microwave oven. A laundry room with coin operated laundry is on each floor.

Recently remodeled, fully furnished with great view of the beach, 32" TV with cable. Sleeps 5-6 com...fortably with queen bed, built in bunk beds and a queen size sleeper sofa. Also available for weekly and monthly rentals. Very close to several nearby restaurants and pubs. It is also very close to many major attractions such as the USS Lexington, Texas State Aquarium, Whataburger field, Museum of Science and History, American Bank Center, Selena Auditorium and downtown Corpus Christi. Hurricane Alley water park just minutes away is slated to open in April of this year. It is also close to great fishing at Indian Point pier and close to fishing boats for hire as well as multiple golf courses. Just 28 miles to Port Aransas, 27 miles to Rockport and 21 miles to Padre Island.

You can reserve the Condominium in one of two ways. If the reservation is a week or longer and made more than 45 days in advance, you can pay a deposit of 25% of the total with the balance due 30 days before check-in. The second is payment in full for which I give a 10% discount. Reservations of less than a week in length or made less that 30 days in advance must be paid in full at time of reservation. Last minute travel discounts: I will give a 15% discount for a reservation made 7 days or less in advance for last minute reservations. Please check the calender for availability and feel free to contact me for additional information about the property, local attractions, activities or general questions. I am a Flight Paramedic and may be out of touch for up to 6 hours at a time so text me if you call and leave a message. If you inquire by e-mail, I receive these every 15 minutes.   This is a small, kitschy condo in a shabby building on a great stretch of beach. The space is just right for 1 or 2. 4 would be crowded & 6 would be uncomfortable. The building is gated & on a very nice, clean strip of beach within easy walking distance of restaurants, the aquarium, & the USS Lexington. There is covered parking, an elevator, & the luggage carts were a nice surprise. The building is old & rundown, the hallways poorly lit, but I never felt unsafe. The walls are thin, so noisy neighbors can be a problem. The room is on the 2nd floor with a lovely view of the coast past the parking lot, especially from the left side of the balcony.
  
  The unit itself had pros & cons. It was cutely designed & smelled nice, but was quite dirty. I was grateful I brought disinfectant wipes for all of the counters, plus my own sheets & pillow. The floors were fitly; my socks were black after thirty minutes. I did see a few dead bugs & one live roach. The hot water doesn't last long & the electrical outlets are poorly installed, but the fridge & AC unit are fantastic. The oven smoked so bad when I preheated it (empty) that it set off the smoke detector, so I wasn't able to use it. The stovetop worked fine.
  
  Privacy was a big concern for me, because the balcony windows look right onto other condos across the parking lot, & you can see directly into the other units at night if they don't have good window coverings. And this unit only has patchy vertical blinds, so you feel very exposed at night in the living room/kitchenette. There also wasn't any internet I could get a hold of in the unit itself; I had to go downstairs to the mail room in the next building for free wireless, but it had a nice view & worked fine.
  
  Overall, the unit was about what I expected for the low price, & it was worth it to me. If you're looking for luxury, this isn't your place. But if you're on a budget & just want to spend most of your time on the beach anyway, this place is a decent option.

  Any of these issues could have been rectified with notice.I am trying new housekeepers and would have personally responded had I been informed to address any issues within my control and notified the HOA of anything within their domain.
  
  I make it clear to all guests from the beginning to notify me of any issues so that I may have an opportunity to address any issues to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
  
  Blind repairs and wireless in the room is coming in April. Sorry I was not notified and given an opportunity to correct any issues presented as I would have done what was needed. Customer service is our top priority!
