Philadelphia, PAPerfect!

Four of us stayed in this villa for two weeks, and everything about it was perfect: size, location, and amenities. We could easily walk to the the center of town, and the villa was so beautiful that we enjoyed just sitting by the pool or relaxing on the patio. The villa owner was attentive, and he would check in regularly to see if there was anything we needed. I highly recommend this villa.

I stayed at the lovely Villa Cristina Contesse with my wife and friends. As soon as we arrived we fell in love the property and scrapped our planned stay in Florence so we could spend more time in Cortona. The location is fantastic as you can walk into charming town center - our most memorable meals were in Cortona especially Canta Napoli. We took many day trips to visit neighboring towns and explore the Tuscan countryside.
The villa itself is wonderful. The sunset view is amazing. I recommend sitting out on the patio with some cheese and crackers and a bottle of Italian wine. The owner, Nic, is a very charming chap that made sure we had everything we needed. He can even direct you to the Prada outlet and give fashion advice but he is totally straight as far as we could tell. We look forward to returning to this amazing place and eating tons of pasta and gelato sometime soon. -

Excellent accomodations. Quite close to town. Clean. Easy to live in. Nice grounds. Only concern is the pool - the water was too cold to swim comfortably.

We are just back from 2 weeks at this lovely villa. We were a party of five that shrank to two so it was a lot of room but we used it well and enjoyed being alone. It was our wedding anniversary and we brought road bikes to explore the area. Great biking, very steep but with a pool waiting it is possible! A car is not necessary but we had one and ventured to several nearby areas. The house was perfect for us, the walk to town for dinner was pleasant and a good workout. Cortona has no shortage of fantastic restaurants, and amazingly we had great experiences at all of them. The owner, Nic, is what made the place really stand out. He is close by, stops in to clean the pool and is very caring toward his guests. Two weeks was a luxury but we left wanting to go back for a month!

RomeWonderful Birthday Experience
Left on 09/30/2010 for a stay in May 2010
The Staff of Terretrusche.com (in particular Vittorio and Michela) and the Owner of Cristina Contesse could not have been more helpful when it came to organising everything I needed and more for an very enjoyable week over my 30th Birthday. With 2 entrances, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms and 2 living spaces (1 up, 1 down) it was perfect for my partner, friends and I to stay upstairs (plus a few extra fold out beds for last minute guests) and my parents to stay comfortably downstairs. With ample parking space for 3-5 cars and a lovely outdoor seating (for 8-10) and Barbecue (plus pizza oven) area it was literary the perfect place to hold a mid spring Birthday party with 20 of my closest friends and family. With the exception of horrible weather (out of everyone's control) I, my family and friends (all whom traveled from abroad) had a wonderful stay in a delightful setting located very close to town. Whilst it was a bit cool and wet to use the pool over our stay it would be perfect in warmer weather. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and agency to anyone who is looking for a well organised, friendly, helpful and beautiful experience of the Tuscany countryside. I would absolutely stay in this property again and I know my parents are already planning thier next trip to Cortona!

USAVilla with spectacular view
Left on 11/03/2009 for a stay in June 2009
We have reluctantly returned home from a wonderful trip to Tuscany. I wanted to extend my many thanks to you for all of your help with the villa rental. Villa La Foce is a beautiful property, way beyond any expectations I could have had. The villa was spectacular and the view was to die for. The owners were extremely nice and helpful.
