This luxurious accommodation, situated in the highest hill of this protected Gothic town. It is situated next to the Gothic church in one of the most beautiful towns of the Costa Brava.

Peralada is home to the famous Castell de Peralada, (venue for the famous summer festivals with the same name), with its two spectacular towers that give it that undeniable presence.

In addition, many buildings, churches, convents, museums, plazas and streets take us back to ancient times.

The apartment

We are t...ruly in one of the most peculiar and amazing accommodations in Costa Brava, since cloistered nuns from the Order of Poor Clares were housed in its many rooms spread over different floors of the building from mid-fifteenth century until mid twentieth century.

With special care to the conservation of all that the nuns left behind, we conducted a careful rehabilitation to recover forgotten parts of the monastery and introduced new elements to the building to provide our guests of all modern comforts.

Flanked by its thick stone walls and arched passageways, the house consists of several rooms that were used by the sisters as rooms for prayer, reading, and sewing. In the old sleeping cells, original cabinets that are more than 200 years old are still in place and well preserved.

So, in addition to two double suites with private bathroom, the house has two bedrooms with three single beds each, there are 2 beds in one of the six living rooms of the house, where guests can play pool, table football, enjoy a good book, have a drink, a nice bottle of wine from the region or relax after a splendid trip to the Costa Brava, without repeating a room!

If however, you feel like enjoying the sun, you have a choice between having an aperitif on the terrace above the house, with spectacular views of the Pyrenees, or in the courtyard that communicates with the cloister in which you will be surrounded by a true feeling of relaxation and tranquility of a real vacation.

There is no accommodation as charming and cozy to enjoy a great vacation in the Costa Brava!
