 A compromise between taste, beauty, simplicity and comfort, all the apartment rooms including the kitchen and the main bathroom have balcony with panoramic view over the city or to the St. Georg Castle and the rear gardens, and an unique and special light. This apartment is tastefully decorated with mixed vintage, classical, and modern comfortable furniture, with paintings and photographs of great Portuguese artists giving to the place a very special aura and refined ambience, completed by the livng room piano. With 160 sqm, the Castelo apartment has the capacity for 7 persons with 3/4 bedrooms: a first double bedroom, with a double bed... and a single bed in the room adjacent to it and the other 2 bedrooms with double beds each. Wide classical living room with a double sofabed; a dressing room; a wide antique and traditional kitchen fully restored with original Portuguese mosaics and tiles and 2 equal antique bathrooms with classical portuguese tiles and a unique character. Light, beauty and warmth are the qualities of this great ancient city bathed by the Tagus river and also resume the qualities of this unique apartment right in the historical centre of Lisbon. Situated in the heart of Lisbon against St Georg Castle advanced tower, in a renovated 19th century building, the Castelo apartment has a overwhelming panoramic view over the city and the Tagus river. Despite the proximity of down town one has the impression of being somewhere in the countryside thanks to the silence that prevails during all day. You'll find a view over the wonderful Castle surroundings from it’s lovely rear garden, where one can eat and rest. Nearby you’ll find the Castle, but also a great deal of Romanic ruins such as the Romanic Theatre and the Romanic Museum, the Lisbon Cathedral, many little typical but also cool bars and restaurants, fado clubs, and right in Costa do Castelo street the famous ChapitĂ´ with a marvellous view over the Tagus river where you can eat, drink and see many different small format shows and other little quiet bars and coffees. At 5 minutes walking distance to downtown, St. Georg Castle main entrance, tube and tram. 10 minutes to SĂŁo Carlos Opera house, National Theatre, Chiado, Bairro Alto. At 15 minutes driving from the airport by taxi. 15 minutes by car from the main highways. Traffic conditioned area, with reserved parking place available.
