Wonderful combination of relaxation and wonder

Left on 05/28/2013 for a stay in May 2013

We had never been to this part of the Cotswolds, but had heard about Lower Mill Farm. It was an incredibly wonderful experience. Right on the edge of the water, overlooking incredible wildlife, this lovely home is so ideally situated. Better than that you can walk into the wildlife park and, if you time it right, see beavers in the wild. It is a truly amazing sight. The area is just beautiful too. We went to Cirencester, and had a guided walk around the town, just a few miles away. Paul and Val make you so welcome too. The place is just stunning.

Enjoyed nice country walks with benefit of modern accommodation

Left on 03/02/2012 for a stay in August 2010

The house is modern, light and spacious, set in an interesting country area with lakes and nature walks. We enjoyed being here and took advantage of the great swimming pool and spa - had a good massage too.

      Sun in November!

Left on 12/13/2010 for a stay in November 2010

Sunshine in November! The huge windows maximised every little bit of sunshine so that it felt summery even though there was ice on the lakes. In the evening, with the blinds closed and the wood fire going, we were warm and snug. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need, the beds were comfortable, the home entertainment system - had we wanted to use it - state of the art. At the spa, we had the pool, sauna and steamroom to ourselves - admittedly mid-week in November - and were able to book relaxing massages which were wonderful. We enjoyed walking round the lakes, watching birdlife and were treated to glorious sunsets. We didn't manage to see any beavers, as it was too cold to sit in the hide at sunset, but will certainly try if we come again in summer.
