Cotton House is a very private estate on the beach with ocean views... of Buck Island. This luxurious villa is surrounded by lush, tropical gardens. Relax in one of three colonial West Indies styled bedrooms, take a dip in our private pool, dive into the Caribbean just steps away from the house, or kayak out to Buck Island.

Beautifully furnished and completely air-conditioned,Cotton House has been featured on the Landmark House Tour. This villa offers three bedrooms/bath suites, a large pool with cabana, and direct access to the ocean for snorkeling and beachcombing. The Great Room combines living and dining areas with the well-equipped kitchen, and white tile and walls provide a soothing counterpoint to elegant furnishings with lively accents of color. Sliding glass doors open to a shady verandah which overlooks Buck Island. This gallery features alfresco dining; comfortable rattan furnishings, seating for cocktails, reading and relaxing. Steps lead down to a large pool and sun deck with a cabana and another dining area and outdoor grill.

Tall palms and other exotic plantings completely screen both sides of the pool area for complete privacy. Stairs of native stone set ino the lawn lead down to the pebbled seashore and adjoining beach.

Take advantage of our concierge service who will take care of your every need, so you can have the perfect, private, peaceful getaway.The Cotton House is over 5000 square feet of living space, covered gallery, covered and open patios. The house and grounds are surrounded by a stone retaining wall, which adds to the privacy.

After beachcoming or laxing by the pool, three bedroom suites offer a cool change, two with king sized beds and one with side by side twins. The first master suite is just off the Great Room; just outside is a private garden patio. Opposite the Great Room are two more air-conditioned bedroom/bath suites; a second king suite, and a third bedroom suite with two twin beds and a private sun deck.

Cotton House by the Sea is on the waterfront facing Buck Island on the East End of St Croix. To the left ofthe property is a half mile sandy beach. We enjoy snorkeling near the reef straight off our waterfront which has a variety of fish and coral. There are several great restaurants within a mile or two of the property, as well as a nine hold links course.

  We learned of this house from some friends, and we were not disappointed. The place is very well appointed and we enjoyed sitting on the porch every night,sipping cocktails as the sun set behind us bathing Buck Island in a warm glow. Everything in the house was clean and comfortable, making our stay there very relaxed and enjoyable. While we stayed in the lovely master bedroom, our housemates thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor (yet discreet) shower connected to theirs - especially with the view of the ocean in the morning. We took full advantage of the availability of fresh fish caught every day and sold at a beach landing just down the street and we grilled dinner on the BBQ every night that we didn't eat in town. We would have loved to kayak down there to get the fish, but none were provided - perhaps the only improvement to the property that we could suggest.

  Cotton House is a dream, beautifully appointed with every convenience one might want. It has a small calm beach and there is a larger white sand beach ten minutes away. We had one of our best vacations ever, swimming snorkeling and boating. We have friend on St. Croix and entertained them several times in this beautiful house, having drinks by the water and dinner on the large covered porch overlooking Buck Island. It was just magical--and we shall be return guests. (what we liked least was going home.) Joan and Matt

  An exceptional beach front property with incredible water views and the
  most wonderful and sweet smelling gardens. The house is perfectly
  appointed and comfortable. We loved the privacy and the deep water pool
  for our laps when we were not swimming in the Caribbean. We were met by
  the property's staff who can provide any service or vacation experience
  imaginable. We will defintely return.

  My husband and I stayed at the Cotton House for a week and were totally impressed by everything about the property. It sits on a beautifully maintained and landscaped lot with breathtaking views. The house is magnificient, with perfectly appointed furnishing and every possible convenience. This house is not like a rental property but stocked and cared for as a private home. It is in perfect condition, immaculately clean, and no one could ever be disappointed when they walk in the door.

  This is a beautifully maintained house in a perfect location on St. Croix. The bedrooms are idyllic, the common areas lovely and exceptionally comfortable, and the outdoor areas, including the spacious and beautiful gallery, and the first rate swimming pool overlooking the ocean are sans pareil. Best of all, the landscaping is really gorgeous, and anyone who loves the tropics for its lushness, will not be disappointed. The location is terrific, isolated enough to feel ever so relaxing, yet near many good restaurants, and convenient to Christiansted. And if you don't want to dine out, the kitchen is very well equipped and the dining areas inside and out are perfect for anything from a casual meal to gourmet dining.

  Cotton House is one of the most exquisite rental properties that we have ever seen. The detailed planning of all aspects of the house added greatly to our enjoyment. The amenities go far beyond the normal offerings and expectations. We hopefully will be coming back again and again.
