It is on the 15th floor of a 19-storey residence with 2 elevators, in Paris-La Defense Courbevoie in a very nice surrounding of gardens, fountain, flowers and trees, in a very quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the city yet at minutes from Porte Maillot, Concorde, Palais Royal, the Louvre and Bastille.
The area is lively and safe.

The apartment is situated in a lively, pleasant local area with a touristic neighborhood.
At a walking distance is the premium Airport Shuttle service to and from CDG Roissy Airport and the station "La Defense-Grande Arche" with the main Metro line 1 and RER line A providing direct easy access to most of the city's historic monuments: Porte Maillot, Concorde, Palais Royal, the Louvre, Opera, the Bastille and also to Disney world at Marne la Vallee . Train direct to Versailles'castle.
The Champs-Elysees is one stop, 5 minutes away with RER line A.

I booked this place and hoped that it was 50% of what the description claimed. Much to our surprise the description was conservative.
This is a wonderful location, comfortable and very clean apartment with a magical view of the Eiffel Tower.
Reasons I would stay again...
• Jacqueline the owner is very close and extremely helpful - before and during our stay.
• Up to date interior and very clean.
• We loved the local neighborhood and enjoyed the local eateries.
• There is a grocery store downstairs and a local shop across the street that has sims cards, computer and printer to print boarding passes etc. that is very inexpensive.
• The transportation is excellent as well. There is bus right across the street that will take you to main metro station - La Defense and taxis right in front of hotel that can take you to airport, etc.
All of these perks and the amazing view make it an exceptional place to stay.
I highly recommend this place for 2 to 3 people.

This apartment is a perfect size for a couple, or family. The bedroom was a good size with bathroom off the bedroom. The kitchen had all the equipment you would require for cooking if you wished to. However there are several really good restaurants near by that are not expensive and serve tasty food. This apartment is found in a large block of flats..which is not really what you think of when you are booking in Paris, but the neighbourhood is really safe and welcoming. It is about a 10 min walk from the metro but also served by the RER. Free wifi and phone calls are a real positve. There is carrefour (supermarket) in the basement of the apartment block which was very handy!

We loved our stay at this apartment. It was very clean and had everything we needed. My 8 year old daughter loved watching the Eiffel Tower light up at night from her bed, it was magical.
The owner lives right next door which made things very convenient. The walk to the metro is a little long with 2 small children but it wasn't that bad. Having a grocery store in the building was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again. -

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The view is amazing- most of the major monuments you'll visit are easily identified from the windows. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was modern so it felt like a home away from home. The building itself is very safe and in a wonderful neighborhood. You can access a market, pharmacy, restaurants, Atms and clothing stores without even stepping foot outside! The community of La Defense offers great family activities, shopping, and restaraunts. The owners are great to work with and very supportive throughout the stay. We had a wonderful experience and would definately book a return stay!

The view is the main reason I chose this apartment and it definitely didn't disappoint. It is a lovely bright and clean apartment and Jacqueline was absolutely delightful. She welcomed us, explained everything and also informed us of local shops and transport.
We were four adults - my parents and my husband and I- my husband and I slept on the fold out sofa bed in the living room which was very comfortable. There is only one bathroom which at times we did have to queue for but this wasn't that much of an issue.
It was the perfect place to stay only 10 minutes drive (as we had our own car) from central Paris. It's clean comfortable and has everything you could need -fridge, coffee maker, plates pots etc...
Amazing apartment at a fair rate. Thank you Jacqueline! Your apartment made my parents first time in Paris a wonderful experience. -

Amazing views over paris, from the apartment you can see clearly the sacre coeur, arc de triomphe and the eiffel tower(specially lovely when lit up at night).Modern, spacious and spotlessly clean apartment,ideally located for the metro to all popular landmarks. Apart from the local shops and supermarket on the ground floor of the apartment block, there is a swimming pool and ten pin bowling. Ten minute walk away is the largest shopping arcade in Europe(Cnit). We would like to thank Jacqueline for her wonderful hospitality, so friendly and helpful. Look forward to visiting again.

For one week we enjoyed the magnificent view of the city lying before us: 180° panoramic view over Paris from Sacré-Coeur, St. Augustin and arc de Triomphe as well as Montparnasse Tower and Eiffel Tower.
After long walks through the streets of Paris with its many sites, historical buildings, museums, parks and luxury shops it was good to return to this beautiful apartment, well maintained, tip-top clean and generously equipped.
The perfect place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist attractions to relax. And in the evening we enjoyed the peace and quiet of the apartment as well as the exceptional panorama over the city and its monuments illuminated at nightfall - especially the sparkling Eiffel Tower. At the same time we could dream about the experiences of the day.
Many thanks to Jacqueline for the nice contact, many good tips and nice talks.
We would like to come again with pleasure.

Our stay in this Paris apt. was very comfortable. It was close to grocery stores and boulangeries. There was even a wonderful Farmer's Market twice a week. The apt. was comfortable, clean and quiet. The owners were very accomodating. The only negative thing about the stay was the distance from the metro. After a long day of sightseeing, the 20 min. walk back to the apt. was often difficult. All-in-all, we would stay again if the opportunity arose again. And, we would definitely recommend it again!

The apartment was lovely, well equipped with a shopping centre underneath building which was really convenient with children. The views from the apartment over paris were stunning. We would happly stay there again when we return to visit friends in Paris. They were also very impressed with the accomadation.

This delightful apartment was exactly as the photos in the listing showed, and the owner was helpful and pleasant. We could not have asked for more. The apartment was immaculate and had all ammenities required in excellent, like new, condition. The bed was most comfortable and the bathroom spacious. Shopping was close by and reasonbly priced. We recommend that public transit be used.- right out front - or cabs, which are also most reasonable. The area of Courbevoie is a pleasant area and is well situated for travel into Paris, or other parts of the countryside. There are many things to keep adults and children busy. And of course, the view from the windows of this wonderful apartment on the 15th floor is truly a joy! Eiffel Towner, Sacre Coeur and the arc De Triomphe, all visible. I was originally very apprehensive when I read the apartment review as they sounded "Too good to be true" Now having experienced Jacqueline's hospitality and the beautiful apartment, I can vouch with confidence that all of it is true! I stayed at the apartment with my parents. Everything about Paris went "wrong" for us...true it's not a typo as my wallet was stolen on the metro on the last day!...But Jacqueline's help and the views from the apartment are still ingrained in our memory. We were able to experience Effile tower lighting and its beauty from the apartment, couple of nearby building also had incredible light shows. I was meeting my family after almost a year. The apartment was just the prefect place for our first itme in Paris. Fully - equipped and clean. The sofa couch was very comfortable. The bus stop to the metro/RER is right just outside the apartment complex. Grocery store and public parking is in the basement of the apartment. Clean and functional and beautiful apartment and a very prompt and helpful host..what more can you ask for. Jacqueline also provides with area maps, train maps and Rick Steve's Paris guide book etc.. which helped head start on our sightseeing planning. I would strongly recommend this apartment and definitely go back! It was worth the money!

The actual apartment is sparkling clean, elegantly furnished and has a view over the whole of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower. However being in La Defence (the modern area of Paris), the outside of the apartment building is modern and gray.The little shopping centre underneath the building has some lovely shops and a supermarket. The walk to the Metro is a good 10 - 15 mins which might be a bit much for little ones after a day of walking around Paris; but the connections into Paris are fantastic: 5 mins on the Red RER to the arc de Triomphe.
Jacquie the owner was very friendly and helpful.
If you are looking for a good value apartment on the edge of Paris then I can thoroughly recommend this apartment. -

We stayed at Madame Bureau's apartment in June of 2011. 2 adults/2Children, Madame Bureau patience is beyond reproach, she graciously welcomed us, explained the order to her accommodations, recommended where to shop, where transportation was located, shared her knowledge of Paris "must sees" for a family visiting Paris. The apartment has a fabulous view of the City, is very clean and offers all the amenities of a 5 star Resort, comfortable bedding, full kitchen,beautiful full bath suite and upgrade electronics. Without hesitation,we encourage this wonderful apartment for couples, small families, honeymoon celebrations, short-term business visits, in addition, a grocery store, and full shopping are on the premise. Our stay in Paris was wonderfully enhanced by this very comfortable and spotlessly clean apartment that is so conveniently located. The view was magnificent; we looked forward to it at the end of every day of sightseeing and the sunrises were just as beautiful. We were so happy to find that the apartment was exactly as described (actually it's even more roomy than the photos suggest). The shopping mall underneath was so convenient and the restaurants were also great (particularly Le Rastignac). The food markets twice a week across the way were fabulous and allowed us to shop and cook "like real French people". La Defense is a beautifully quiet location at night which meant we all slept very well; but La Defense is also a spectacular place to visit. I have never seen such exciting architecture. This was a very pleasant surprise! I will happily recommend this apartment to friends and family. Jacqueline, you are a warm and welcoming host and we hope to be your guests again soon. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment which was nicely furnished to a high standard. There was plenty of storage the the kitchen was well equipped. Jacqueline is very welcoming and lives very close by if you need help and she speaks good English. If you plan to spend most of your time in central Paris, it does take a bit of time to commute 10 min walk to station and 15 min on RER. Other than that I would thoroughly recommend it.
