Royston House is a warm and friendly place to stay. Ross and Nancy were waiting for us on our arrival and were warm and friendly. Nancy's cooking was wonderful, she gave us a beautiful "home made taste of Canada" with her home cooked breakfasts. Their helpfulness, guidance and tips and hints about the local area and further afield were invaluable. Nothing was too much trouble. In fact on reflection we felt that we arrived as customers but left as friends.
The quality of the accommodation was outstanding, we have travelled the world, often preferring to stay in B&Bs; and felt that at Royston House we had stayed somewhere very special. The Carriage House is extremely well appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean. Great thought has gone into meeting your every need. It is situated close to the shore and close to the main highway but far enough away in its extensive grounds to be secluded and quiet.
It is a perfect spot to stay in. If you expect high standards of accommodation, friendliness and somewhere to relax or use as a base to explore eastern Vancouver Island then this B&B; will not let you down. Excellent sums up this B&B;. -

Left on 06/21/2012 for a stay in June 2012
A spacious suite with every amenity one could want nestled by the ocean with flowers and shrubs well cared for and indicative of the area's lush landscapes. Nancy and Ross are well versed in the history and many activities offered nearby, as well as outstanding restaurant selections offering local organic fare. Such a delightful and relaxing few days highly recommended.

Victoria, BCA wonderful seaside retreat
Left on 03/27/2012 for a stay in February 2012
Hosts Nancy and Ross Munro provided everything we needed for a relaxing and productive writing retreat. The spacious suite gave us room to work and to prepare meals separate from our sleeping quarters. Nancy produced a variety of mouth-watering breakfasts within the constraints of our gluten- and dairy-free diet. We also appreciated the easy access to skiing at Mount Washington, walks in the Comox Valley, and restaurants in Comox-Courtenay.

We always enjoy our stay at Royston House. Nancy and Ross are most welcoming and provide all the comforts of home in the Carriage House.
We appreciate the easy access to Mt Washington for both winter and summer activities. Comox and Courtenay have a great selection of restaurants. The Black Finn, Atlas Cafe and Locals are a few of our favourites.
Can't wait until our next visit.

Great initial communication when making booking. Quick to respond, friendly arrival. Beautiful accommodation, very private, self contained kitchen, cosy living room, and bedroom. Private deck overlooking garden. Lots to see and do around the area, good restaurants and recommendation from B & B hosts.

We had a lovely stay at Royston House in Comox BC. The carriage house is very spacious, and has room for the whole family. We enjoyed the peace and privacy as we had our own locked entrance, which made it possible to come and go without disturbing anyone. The sit down breakfast was prepared fresh from Nancys kitchen and was very tasty. We enjoyed each others company over the many cups of coffee as well, and would like to thank our gracious hosts for our pleasant stay.

Vancouver, BCAmazing ... soothing for the soul
Left on 03/03/2011 for a stay in April 2010
This is much more that a B&B;, it is a beautiful, self-contained loft suite with private bedroom, spa bathroom, kitchen and living room. The property and location are outstanding, steps from the beach and surrounded by an old-growth forest.
I wish I could have stayed a week, I plan to return very soon.
Ross and Nancy are amazing hosts ..
