An historic country manor house in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales. Just 12 miles west of Cardiff, Wales' capital city, and moments from the fascinating Heritage coastline.

The Manor offers unique accommodation in large and comfortable apartments all within the Manor House.

A touch of history and a real feel of comfort.

We have 3 apartments that we rent out by the week, or for short stays or even longer visits. The one featured on this advert is The Manor. The prince's Apartment and The Courtyard are listed seperately or please enquire.

The Manor Apartment has ground floor access and is over... 2000 Square feet in size. The master bedroom has an ensuite shower room and dressing room with a superking bed and a single if required. Bedroom 2 can be made up as a superking a twin, a triple or even a quad. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed and space for a single. There is a 2nd shower room, a family bathroom with roll top bath and lovely views. A fully equipped modern kitchen, oak panelled dining hall and a large sunny living room with direct access into the gardens.

The Prince's Apartment is on the first floor accessed up the impressive sweeping staircase. It has 3 bedrooms each with an ensuite or private bathroom. Bedroom 1 can be a superking a twin or a triple. Bedroom 2 is a king with space for a single. Bedroom 3 can be a superking or a twin. The kitchen/breakfast room is fully equipped and there is a large and sunny living room with 2 sofa beds. Finally there is a 4th bathroom for the sofa bed guests.

The Courtyard Apartment has 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a double with ensuite shower, bedroom 2 can be a superking or a twin and there is space for a an extra single if required. There is a family bathroom with tub and overhead shower. The living room is very large with a dining table and finally a large, spacious , fully equipped kitchen.

All guests have full access to the grounds and gardens. There is an old, but very playable, tennis court, table tennis, croquet, and a lock up drying room and golf and bicycle storeroom.

Cowbridge is a delightful Roamn market town just 1 mile down the road with many small and individual shops, restaurants and pubs. There are also 2 pubs within a short stroll of the Manor both with restaurants.

The coast is 10 minutes by car and is stunning with its cliffs, bays, beaches coves and cliff walks.

Dyffryn House and gardens National Trust, St Fagans the outdoor Welsh folk museum and of course Cardiff are all close to hand. The Brecon Beacons National Park is 40 minutes away as are the fascinating Welsh Valleys.

A lovely rolling rural Vale on the south coast of Wales. Just 12 miles from the cosmopolitan capital city of Cardiff. A dramatic coastline that never looks the same twice. Plenty to see and do and easy to reach by car on the M4 or plane into Cardiff International Airport just 20 minutes away. Train to Cardiff or Bridgend or X2 bus from Cardiff or |Bridgend to Cowbridge.
